Auto is best for city traffic conditions, manual fun on highway with better control . .... To sum up. To each his own..

Obviously automatic driver will drive automatic like in US where 99% cars are automatic coz they don't know to drive manual but this is India and here AMT is mostly used which is cheapest and worst automatic version or it's basically Manual transmission with AMT kit which is nonsense in driving so Indian people don't like AMT but they like CVT, DCT which are tradition automatic which are used in US.

Hello, Skoda Rapid DSG is advanced and comes with Tiptronic Transmission where you can override using D minus on the gear. Also has sport mode to it to downshift the gear and let the car moves in a higher torque band. No need of any paddle shifts in Rapid. Its the best Automatic to drive in segment
On Highway, Manual Car is better for overtaking because you can downshift at required gear(depending on the load of car) to increase speed. Also, for comfort I think manual and auto cars are same on highway because you don't need to shift gear frequently. You can put your car on top gear and just need to press accelerator, same as automatic cars.

In cvt with pedal shifters you will hardly use them instead as in baleno there is L mode there with is suitable for hill area its lock the gears at 1st

In my opinion people who are planning to stay in city for longer time can go for AMT, we can concentrate only on steering which is easy to drive its purely for convenience and in future manual technology will be disappeared in cars..but always better to know manual driving also..any body can correct me if I'm wrong..
