I'd be super interested if there are other survivor couples who've not started their romance on the show but after it (think Joe & Sierra who were on Worlds Apart, didn't interact that much but now are married and had a baby recently). Could it be a cool moment if they as a couple were returning once more or would people not care since they didn't hit it off during their season together?
Honestly the reason why I resent FigTay even more is how they somehow got away with it for so long while Mari (who I adored because of me loving her on Smosh Games) became the first Millennial out of the game and I (like Mari) am still salty over that.
I think Jay and Michelle were using the showmance as a shield for their games. if you were going to target one of those four it was going to be one in the showmance.

Honestly I started Survivor because Mari was going to be on it and I love Smosh and Smosh Games. And I continued watching the season after she was eliminated because I wanted to know what Survivor was like. And then I became a superfan. Mari and Francesca would do amazing if there was an early boot season.

Also I think the fact that Cochran was basically bullied by the whole tribe didn't help their reputations lol it's one thing to lie or play a vicious game.. it's another to just gang up on and downright bully one specific tribe mate. Edit: OMG I forgot about that whole.. situation lmfao this is why I need to finish the video (or at least the specific segment) before commenting. But even without that they still would never have been at Romber level.

I'm not good with names and I forgot her boyfriend's name. They were a cute couple but for everyone else I'm like get a room. Rob and Amber were okay at times but overhyped. Not a fan.
My (least) favorite is the couple that Jeff offer to officiate right there at tribal council. The girl was all in, but the guy backed way out after that. Turns out, he had a wife/fiancee at home who was PREGNANT. I don't know if that relationship lasted once he got home, but that's pretty crappy.

I see a lot of comments on why the first pick was so unlikeable even tho they got married. Whitney got married about a year before survivor and didn’t tell anyone not even her family, then her and her then husband announced an “engagement” just before survivor. Well then she met Keith on Survivor….
She called her husband and told him while she was still waiting to get back in the US. Her husband then had to tell others they weren’t engaged, they were married and she was seeing someone else, while she wasnt even back in the states yet.
They left out what happened at the reunion with figtails. Figgy said figtails is no more and then Jeff points out that Taylor just got another girl pregnant and is a new father. I'm sure that didn't seem very appealing to Figgy when she saw it happen.

Another survivor couple who met on island and got married are Sierra and Joe. I guess technically they didn't have a showmance but they worked out.
