Precedent was set by Janu - I remember reading somewhere that nowadays if someone quits during the jury phase, then the decision would be made on a case-by-case basis to put them on the jury or not. Although I don't remember the source for that, so take it with a grain of salt. However, all quits post-Nicaragua have been pre-jury, so this hasn't been tested yet. The closest we came was Julie McGee in SJDS, who quit one round before the jury (presumably so she wouldn't have to be separated from Rocker for another 3 weeks)
Abi was never a bitter juror. Just watch her ponderosas. If she was really petty, it wouldn't matter if Denise apologized, she would still be vindictive and vote for someone else. But she voted for the best player in both of her seasons. Just give the girl some credit.
and she did at one point propose to Lisa & Skupin about a final 3 of them and they didn't consider it. That could have factored in a little, but I might be wrong.

Fun Honorable Mention from International Survivor: Survivor South Africa Season 5. basically player x was on the jury and in the old tribal format went towards the start claiming that they were voting for player y and that if it wasn't a unanimous decision from the jury it was doing an injustice to the game of survivor. by the end of tribal she was convinced by player z in the final 3 to vote for player z causing player z to win in a 5-3-2 plurality vote win....yeah
I think James was thinking that Courtney was obviously supposed to be the first person voted out of the game but not only was she not the first person voted out but she made it to the end and won an immunity if anybody else besides Todd had made it to final tribal and I was on the jury I'd find it hard not to vote for Courtney but you know Todd was there and you can't beat Todd's final tribal performance it's often considered the best performance on like every top 10 list

We can add Maria to this list. I love Kenzie as a winner. But Charlie only lost because of Maria’s vote that seemed random and she never had a solid reason to explain it
Susie was very deserving to win the bitter jury of Gabon. Don’t be blinded by that sour and bitter tribe that felt superior and insinuated none of them was desrving over them. Shocked about: Naseer voting for Erika, Xander was obviously not winning after that Woo 2.0 move but the edit really pushed this for some reason? Parvati not voting for Tony in S40 suprised me quite a bit.
even in Tony's EW psot-game interview, he justified Jeremy, Tyson, and Ethan voting for Natalie Anderson, but even the Survivor King could not wrap his head around the fact that he didnt get Parvati's vote at the end
Parvati bonded with Natalie a lot in the edge
@@silverbowftw5225 ik, Tony addressed that in his EW interview and actually excused the other 3 voters, using the reason that you proposed. it just surprised both me, and Tony, that Parvati would prioritise her relationship with Nat over a better game
I've been watching your channel for like a year now, and I've never seen a single episode of Survivir, nor have I ever been interested 😂😂 Yet here I still am
🤣🤣🤣🤣
I like the theory that naonka had a crush on fabio the entire game, and her bullying was just because she had feelings for him lol. When you view it that way her vote and attitude towards him makes sense
An evil stepsister is still family ❤️
I remember even when I was too young to understand the nuances of the game hearing Christy says one of the women winning the million was not gonna happen in her departure speech. I also remember feeling surprised when she DID vote for Jenna in the end. It was surprising then and it's just as surprising now
Fun Honorable Mention from International Survivor:
Survivor South Africa Season 5. basically player x was on the jury and in the old tribal format went towards the start claiming that they were voting for player y and that if it wasn't a unanimous decision from the jury it was doing an injustice to the game of survivor. by the end of tribal she was convinced by player z in the final 3 to vote for player z causing player z to win in a 5-3-2 plurality vote win....yeah
China was the best Final 3 ever. 3 people who all stood a good shot at winning. You never see that.
@@dougierichardson484 they all stood a good shot for different reasons too Todd played a really aggressive game and even though I thought he deserved to win at the end I didn't think he was actually going to win Amanda played an honest tow the alliance type of game where she didn't really backstab anybody and she made a couple good moves but nothing too spectacular and then Courtney played the game that I don't think I've seen won yet but has come close to winning the whole I'm Fish Out of Water I'm a city girl not Built For This type of gameplay and now I can kind of understand why she and fish back were dating because they pretty much used the same reasoning why they should win
Maria has entered the chat
i always thought that the jury in china was up in the air but had gone into there leaning more towards amanda but because her speech was so poor and with todds great speech, he was able to snag the votes.
You never pass up a chance to dunk on Skupin lol
as everyone should
the hilarious part of philippines is that probably abi wins if she goes to the end over malcolm or denise.
I think Lisa wins in that final 3 scenario
@@jayjasperjp Pete said in a Reddit AMA that Lisa definitely wins in that scenario.
@@SmoothCriminal12
It's still satisfying knowing she'd beat Skupin.
Tasha giving WOO his only vote in Cagayan still baffles me
According to her and Kass, Tony was sexist and claimed things wouldn't get done without the men around. Kass looked past it, but Tasha didn't. She was trying to fish for some reason to justify voting for Woo when she asked her question at the final tribal.
I still feel like there are more than the 5 covered here. All for a part 2 sometime in the future 👍
I think you should do a video talking about the weirdest confessional locations in the game
This is an underrated idea!
I laughed out loud at a lot of your special comments on this one 😄
That thing about jimmy t being malcolm from the future rocked my world
Devins not voting Chris was my most surprising since they had a similar journey
Where is Ami's jury vote for Twila from Survivor Vanuatu? I was shocked Ami voted for her to win, especially after everything that happened between them.
She apologized and Ami's vote confessional was shown.
R.C also voted for Lisa, instead of Denise
That one's understandable, she only met Denise for one round of voting (the first merge round) while she was with Lisa since the start of the game
Courtney has said that she wanted Todd to win, so my guess is that Frosti knew that, or at least understood that at FTC.
Have you noticed in final 3, if there is 1 man and 2 women, they put the guy in the middle AND higher than the two women? It sends subliminal messages and they always end up winning! Todd, Mike, Richard
this happened in Caramoan with Cochran as well :/
Tasha Voting for Woo was my most shocking (haven't seen the full video yet)
We can add Maria to this list. I love Kenzie as a winner. But Charlie only lost because of Maria’s vote that seemed random and she never had a solid reason to explain it
Glad to see the Malcom/Jimmy T theory still getting credit.
9:48 LMAO-
9:00 Can you play that again and again and again until I’m Tired?
That Jimmy T / Malcolm shot is WILD
How about Ralph (Rip) voting for "Filip" in Redemption Island. It was literally the only vote that kept Rob from a unanimous vote.
Ralph didn’t vote for Filip, he voted for Phile
@@baileylynn5562 OH yeah you're right. Lol 😆.
Now that I think about it, I think it might've been Eric who voted for Filip in fans vs favorites 2
@@justinkortuem942 yep, that’s right
@@justinkortuem942 I think Erik voted “Fillup” at Malcolm’s double idol tribal
Thank you for posting the video.
Susie was very deserving to win the bitter jury of Gabon. Don’t be blinded by that sour and bitter tribe that felt superior and insinuated none of them was desrving over them. Susie blindsided that alliance allowing her to continue to move up in ranks throughout the season and won individual immunities when she was at higher risk. She even had an final 3 alliance with Crystal and Matty showing she was always playing/deserving.
tbf she would've gotten OBLITERATED by matty at that ftc. i love susie and wouldve also liked her to win, but she's a prime example in my eyes of someone whose game looks far more impressive on paper then it actually was
I agree that Matty would of won against her at Final 3, but Based on the players that made the Final 3 - Susie was making moves in the game and deserving.
@@alexd740 yeah she def made more moves then bob (and tbh probably matty who kinda flukes his way into his position off being the sanest member of fang), that said she (and sugar) were on the bottomest of bottoms for basically the entire game and she literally had to be tricked into flipping on marcus by ken and crystal
“Maybe he wanted her to win the million so she could but some non blurry clothes” lmao
Also Christy’s blindside was final 6, not 7
Ah, I always get that wrong! Thank you for the correction
SEVERAL PURPLE KELLY SIGHTINGS!! WOOT WOOT!! ;)
I can’t u see the Jimmy T / Malcom thing
Me neither...lol
GOOD GAWD!!
I can
Shocked about:
Naseer voting for Erika, Xander was obviously not winning after that Woo 2.0 move but the edit really pushed this for some reason?
Shan/Liana voting for Erika, not because Deshawn had a good game but because the Black alliance.
Rick voting for Gavin, Chris did the same thing Rick did with the EOE part.
JP voting for Ben, still not sure about this one.
Brenda voting for John, after the teeth thing I thought she would let it go and vote for her.
Sundra voting for Yul since the edit tried to show yul/becky with her/ozzy which was inaccurate.
Abi is a good juror for sure, her question at second chances was very interesting.
Isn't part of the "Christy was trying to vote Jenna out" theory based on the fact that Amazon is the only season where the full confessionals of the jurors when they cast their votes for the winners never released?
That's why I disagree with people saying it's mean or ableist to say Christy screwed up the final voting, because that is a huge piece of evidence that it could be true.
@@Captain-Sum.Ting-Wong was Christy hearing impaired.??
@@christellefrancios2038 go watch Amazon it’s one of biggest storylines one of reason Rob C able to play middle (Realistic first person to do so) [maybe Kathy? S4]
Sugar in Gabon was amazing!! She def deserved to win, she controlled the vote the whole time, but she had a terrible finale tribal.
Yeh agree 100%, Bob didnt do anything exept win immunity, Susie was ok but not really great social and strategic player, she just follow Kenny, Crystal. The only one who deserve it is Sugar, she controlled every single vote post merge and a lot of pre merge boot too... i think people dont really considering her since she's not really strategic but she was the Queen of Gabon and shes hilarious, entertaining as heck...
I was really shocked when Candice voted yul, Katie voted Tyson, joe voted Ben, and Taylor voting Adam
Jimmy T is Malcolm’s weird uncle he doesn’t associate with, that’s why he never talks about it.
I need more info on this nayanka and Fabio bonding around weed thing
Are you a millennial or GenZ? This has haunted me for weeks and I need an answer
I think I remember seeing a tweet from Luke saying he's in his 30s. Which would make him a millennial.
Lol Amanda lost two seasons basically because she described her game bad at final trouble even though hers was definitely the best
It was not bad...but not better than parv or todd. She deserved 3rd and 2nd.
You can add Maria voting for Kenzie to this now
How? They were close and Kenzie is the one to outplay her
@@devondonato4609 there are times regardless of personal feelings that you put it aside and vote for who played it the best. in NO way did Kenzie play the best game. Survivor needs a new theme. I've got it. the jury votes and during the finale and up until a day or 2 later reveal the results and if the fans hate the decision then those jurors who made it will be banned from playing for life. it should be called SURVIVOR: Decisions have Consequences.
@NTX_Rated Kenzie and Charlie played the same game, except Kenzie is actually the one to pull the trigger on getting Q out
@NTX_Rated the fans of the show are pieces of shit I would hate to give them the choice
@@NTX_RatedKenzie 100% played the better game. Mr. Taylor Swift was not owed Maria's vote and him being over confident in his alliance with her is why he lost. If you can't read people you're gonna lose, that's why it's a social game. Kenzie had to navigate way more nonsense throughout the game and not just hide behind momma Maria who was a far better player than him anyway.
I always wonder who gave Fabio that 420 vote, I assumed it was Benry, but to find out it was Naonka....
Grant Mattos voting for Boston Rob. They hated each other, both in the game and after it. But Rob was against 2 such huge goats, I guess he felt he had to vote him.
You think Bob didn't deserve to win after he esentially destroyed the enemy alliance by himself and won a bunch of inmunities?
bruh Chris Noble voting for Dom is one of my favs ever.
7:09 how dare you say that about queen Jesusita Smith
Marie voting Kenzie
Everyone talks about Debbie voting for Michele, but I actually think Nick voting for Aubry was more surprising. They were on different tribes until the merge, and then Nick was the merge boot (after Neal's med-evac).
if I remember correctly nick never respected michele or her game. not surprising he voted for aubry instead
Nick was betrayed by Michele and I think he was the one jury member bitter at Michele.
@@heatherparisi8250 I think he respected her more after she blindsided him. The thing is he felt like he protected Michele in the pre-merge but Michele didn't see it that way because she never went to tribal council in the pre-merge so Nick never built any sort of loyalty towards Michele even though he thought he did.
In his AMA, Nick said that he was aware of the strategical nuances in Aubry's game that other jurors missed.
i think maybe jefra to tony was a shocker
Yeah Fiji wasn’t going to be another race based season, they just decided to cast exactly like Cook Islands for one more season and then immediately go back to the classic 75 percent white casting for China and beyond because casting was woke for exactly one year and one year only
Quitters don’t deserve ANY acknowledgment
Christy was blindsided at F6, not F7.
Na’Onka was iconic. She was hilarious and she made fabulous reality tv.
“I can promise you right now she is not referencing John 4:20 in the bible”
Unintentional funny 115 reference?
I don’t think Erik’s vote is that shocking at all. He and Amanda were allies assuring the post-merge, and he was generally closer with her than Courtney or Todd.
Frosti’s was a little surprising, but given how good Todd’s performance was, it’s understandable why anyone would vote for him.
Another fantastic idea
Why was she allowed on the jury after she quit???
bc she quit "playing". thats different than voting as a juror
And then abi saying she would have voted for Denise even if Malcom was brought to the end made me like her a lot more tbh. She was just confused like the whole game.
Naonka was so funny loved her
I would love to see a video about all the clones. We all see it.
totally agree with number 1. Jenna is bottom 3 in my winners list. But Matthew would be there as well. Weak final 2 in Amazon. it's shame rob lost that final immunity challenge.
