Originally when this print came out, I really wanted it but couldn't afford to get the whole set. I only bought the ring, headbow, and wristcuffs. I ended up turning the headbow charm into a necklace and it's all so cute. The wristcuffs had this big cabachon bow on the ribbon that I took off because it looked off, but the lace matches the jsk. It's such lovely lace. Still hoping to get my hands on the mint or sax jsk in my size one day. It's so lovely.

I just purchased a dress from them! I got the Double Rose Petal JSK and it’s gorgeous. The buttons are sewed on tightly and it comes with three detachable bows. The cut is a little more like a corset which is interesting and it takes a petticoat well. I highly recommend them because the quality is so lovely cx

I actually use washi tape to decorate my journal or tape cute pictures on my walls and have a collection of 30 plus washi tape. I say start a journal for lolita and washi tape actually becomes useful.
XD I ordered this dress from Devilinspired in the XL size because Taobao doesn't carry that size, still waiting on it though. As for Polly Pocket... my favorite set was the wedding set with a light up church my mom got me as a gift for when I was a flower girl for my cousin's wedding. I don't recall ever chewing on them though. I wasn't much of a chewer as a kid. lol
You're not crazy!! the straps are SUPER LONG on this jsk and there actually are buttonholes to adjust the length, they're just hard to see, I put mine up on the highest one and it's still loose lol. It's amazing how light the material is but the jsk is heavy af!!
Gosh this dress is so iconic, everyone has it! We really should all coord it and march down the streets like a frilly army. A shame my set didn't come with the apron... Maybe I can make one following you tutorial! It did come with waist ties matching the fabric of the dress though. (Oh and I removed the charm from the charm and made a necklace too)

Omg I identified with trying to function with claws SO much in this video. I switched to coffin shaped nails which makes things a little easier. That dress is so cute! And your hair matches! I agree about the bow. The charm is weird. I feel like it could be a cute pin/ hair clip too!

Wildest thought on the apron: since it's made of the same organza-type of fabric of the waist ties, you could always attach the two together? In order to make it into an half apron with ties. Of course this means giving up waist ties on the JSK for good, but you would get a fully realized apron in return. Thanks for reviewing this dress!
I have this JSK in the blue colorway! The long straps actually work in my favor because my bust and shoulders are pretty big. I do agree though that the skirt is pretty long and heavy, I've thought about buying a hoopskirt specifically for this dress. Overall I love this JSK. It has so many colors to coord with that honestly I think this in yellow isn't a challenge to coord like other yellow JSKs.
Lol, yes I was gonna say the same thing. The dress fits great, it looks like the waist hits at the right spot... we're just all used to wearing/seeing AP dresses that sit too high because they are made for people with shorter torsos 😅

My god, this happened to me one,They do this this all the time to my wig orders. Also had one person try to steal my dress and i only got it because It was inssured as a 200 dollar dress and you know they don't want to pay it so it magically was found.

Fortunately, it looks like your box just got dented in transit, rather than busted into - in shipping, "fragile" just means they throw it underhanded instead of overhanded 😂 Probably some other heavy box got chucked on top of yours, and landed with a hefty corner straight into your package, like a wrestler dropping an elbow from the top rope lol. That said, porch pirates are definitely a thing to watch out for! (And I must be a little older than you - I was past the age of chewing on my Polly Pockets when I had them, but I'm sure I left them lying around for the unsuspecting grownups to step on in the middle of the night 🤣)
