I haven't been to any meetups or events this year dressed in lolita fashion. I also haven't felt the need to with the panini still going on. My country is in its third lockdown right now since the panini started. I just enjoyed physically re-organizing my closet, digitized my wardrobe (this was long overdue), started using a closet organizing app called "my everyday lolita" and the highlight of my year was finally taking photographs on my own (I mean without someone else holding the camera) with a large tripod I just bought and creating a new coord that incorporated some of the hand made stuff I hadn't worn yet.
Wow I really need to digitize my wardrobe too!! I'll definitely have to check out the app you use! Omg being able to take your own photos without bothering someone (I always feel like Im bothering anyway 😂) is SO good. No need to feel rushed and you can really take your time with lighting and poses and all that. Very happy you can enjoy all of that now! And thats so cool you can wear your own hand made lolita stuff, I need to get back into crafting 😭
@@SweetieSprout I recommend digitizing your wardrobe. It's not much effort if you have, or can easily find, stock photos (like photographs from pieces from sales pages from brands, for example use lolibrary for older releases) of the pieces you own. It gets a little more time consuming if you have pieces that you can't find good photographs for online and you have to take them yourself. The "my everyday lolita" app had some issues but most of the bugs are gone and I find it very user friendly. I have my entire wardrobe uploaded to MEL, but also have a wardrobe folder on my PC with subfolders that organize pieces per type (shoes, OPs, JSKs, socks, etc). In the first 2 months MEL went through some issues and I had to reupload almost my entire wardrobe. This is why I also have a wardrobe folder on my PC. MEL has been stable for 2 or 3 months now. It's worth trying imo. I live alone so being able to take photos on my own means I don't have to wear lolita to events or special occasions to get a picture. Most of the time I didn't even bother asking friends/family to take my picture anyway. I would forget or that person would be known to take horrible pictures and I didn't dare give them some direction. Getting a new smartphone (my last one was from 2014), that large tripod, a bluetooth shutter remote, LED bulbs (with more lumen than I was used to), plus watching some advice on youtube about photography made all the difference. I'm finally happy with the pictures I'm in. I wish you good luck and lots of enjoyment with crafting and sewing in the New Year!

Yes absolutely! I have so many ideas for more witchy centered content for next year ✨ And yes we do actually!! He has a really beautiful aristocratic set from Atelier Boz that he wore for our wedding since I wore a lolita dress. He hasnt worn it out with me since then just to keep it safe and in nice condition, but maybe its time we do!
Yes absolutely!! I think tall Lolitas are so gorgeous I honestly envy how cool y'all look in Lolita 😭💕 And you'd get to wear underskirts to add length to your dresses which look SO cool!! If you've been worried about wearing Lolita because if your height please try it and know you'd look stunning! 💕
