Hill is a monster player! Wrote some of the best guitar solos ever: "I remember you" "In a darkened room" "Wasted time" "Quicksand Jesus" The guy is a beast!
In a darkened room is genuinely one of the greatest solos I've ever heard, Scotti and Snake Sabo are an amazing duo they play off each other and there work is seriously high level guitar playing.
That whole “Slave to the grind” album took the band to the next level of metal! I loved all the Side A tracks! For Side B, “ A Darkened room” and “ Wasted time” were good. Side B was mellower. I loved how the cassette was stuffed with ridiculously long liner notes with complete lyrics and credits. The band was incredibly generous with the liner notes. And nice art! I used to just look at the artwork while listening to the album.
What a total bad ass. I loved the lesson with Richie Faulkner and can’t wait to sit down with my 2015 Gibson LP standard and learn these. Very excited. Scotti has to be nearly as underrated as Tesla’s Frank Hannon. Simply awesome.

Thanks again for everybody who made this video, I wish it was another couple of hours longer to include some of my other favourite songs, particularly some of the ballads that bring tears in my eyes (In a Darkened Room, Quicksand Jesus, Breakin' Down)
