wow really enjoying these riff lords as you are covering some amazing guitarist!!! Very happy to see Scotti Hill and now Snake Sabo ! great guitarist and songwriter Thanks Gibson TV ;)) keep it up
Thanks for watching!!!
So much going on in these songs that i never picked up on,great too see these guys again,so many good times rockin the skids!..
So good of you guys to freely give back to those who idolise your creativity and talents. I’ve just watched scotti’s tutorial on the solo for I remember you and I’m blown away with the amount of engagement and the attention to detail you both show. This is gold!
Thank you for your efforts.
I've always loved the style of Snake Sabo - southern, nasty, groovy, so full of attitude - and Scotti Hill's style is just the perfect complement. What an era to live in, where I can learn from Snake Sabo himself how to play those master pieces! F**k Yeah!
Hell yeah!!! I love all the players y’all get on here especially the 80s ones! Nobody has really done that. Keep it up! 🤘🏻🤘🏻
Ill never forget when I heard their first singles. Snakes guitar sound blew my mind. And to see him reproduce it live was amazing. He was the real deal.
Amazing tutorial here by a true musician
This is why skid row is respected to this very day. Because of articulate members of the band like Snake here
Don’t forget at one point Sebastian didn’t give af about SR. He left them .. now SB is all about what he did in SR
We want a “Riff Lords: Warren DeMartini”!!
"Lay It Down!!!!"
Yes we do!!
Yes!!
HELL YEAH!!!! that’s what i’m talking about 🤘🏻🤘🏻🤘🏻🤘🏻🎸🎸🎶🎶🎶🎼🎼
I want a RATT with Warren DeMartini
Snake is a great speaker and obviously a fantastic musician. 🤘
This was great Dave @Snake Sabo! Been a long time my friend! Glad to see you having so much success over the years. The last time I saw you before we lost touch was when I was working at Musician's Workshop in '84 and when you were in transition from Steel Fortune to SR. Good luck with the new album, and ROCK AND ROLL!!!
Snakes smile after finishing the riff of “I remember you.” Cool dude!🤘🏽😎
Thank you! Thank you! Love the songs and the lessons. You are inspiring me to practice more while everything is shut down!! 🤘
Seriously enjoyed this. Snake is so dialing it back in this video special. He can nail any Maiden solo. His inspiration on me and my playing will never be lost.
Some of the most influential riffs in rock & metal.
Again focusing on the playing not just the gear you're killing it Gibson 😎
Well said Sir.
go google kramer bro
Kramer is a property of Gibson
Who hears Sebastian in their head too?
It's hard not to! Such memorable songs.
I seen him play the whole complete first hit album in Oct. 2019. Guy still sings great. It's a major shame grown men can't get along when they know the majority of their fans would love to see a reunion tour.
@@Living_EDventures true words. However most of GNR did get back together. So maybe there is hope for Skid Row one day.
@@Faven2011 Lets hope so. It does seem Rachel has a personal grudge against him from things he says and talks. Hopefully he'll get over his ego. Life is too short!
One of my favourites !!! Love from Rio, Brazil
Love these Riff Lords episodes...Dave is such a cool dude...
I love the debut album, but Slave to the Grind is one of my favorite entire albums of all time. I listen to it from beginning to end, every time. “The Threat” may be my favorite track on it.
Killer track! Killer album!
101% agree
18 and life was a big part of my youth. thank you Skid Row
Can we PLEASE get a “Riff Lords: Vito Bratta”?!??!?! PLEAAAASEEEE
We are on it!!!!
Not likely...but would be AMAZING if that happened.
Could you imagine if that ever happened? Extremely highly unlikely since I've heard VB doesn't even play anymore, let alone remember how to play the stuff. He never tabbed it out and wish he did for himself. Source: Eddie Trunk's interview with him back in 2008
@@bennybischoff4913 What's your favorite White Lion riff???
YES!
Snake, I bought this guitar, and I freaking love it, man. Skid Row is my second favorite band of al time behind Van Halen. Hope you don't hate me for it.
This is so long awaited! I'm a major fan of Skid Row coz they produced IMHO 'THE BEST HARD ROCK?HEAVY METAL" album EVER!!!!! I get to finally see how he plays the opening riff to The Threat which is like one of the heaviest and most kick ass riffs I've ever heard and the song just extends that whole feeling! Thank you Snake, Scotti, Rachel and gang for creating my teenage life soundtrack!
I just received the Dave Sabo guitar and it's beautiful, not disappointing at all! I have it with my original 1990 Kramer Nightswan.
I added some Fu-Tone Titanium saddle screws and saddle blocks and the brass big block, wow does this guitar come alive! The Sabo model knocks it outa the park, just a beautiful beast of a guitar!
Dave is an awesome guy, would love to meet him.
That was awesome, thank you Gibson Tv! One of my favorite bands and I still crank those first three Skid Row albums. I hope Kramer eventually releases the Snake Sabo guitar, I would buy one in a second.
The Snake model is coming this January! More details coming soon!
Such a great guy and super cool lesson.
Snake Rocks!
some of my favorite riffs he played mostly all of them! Super nice dude too!
Fantastic, thanks so much for doing this...and let's see Kramer USA make a big comeback!!
I remember standing in the front row of the Milton Keynes Bowl in the UK watching Dave crack out Piece of Me from the debut Skid Row album, such fantastic riffs. Such a great groove and attitude to the Snake's playing
Love Snake and Scotti style and guitar players..jus amazing.. great riffs and lead guitarist both. I live skid row
Love Snake, such a nice dude.
Youth gone wild 😍😍you make my day !
Tks
Great session, thx Snake for sharing the riffs, keep up the good work Gibsontv
Thanks for watching!!!
