my crew spent like half a mission playing with cars and melee. fun things we found. the first time we flipped a car into the water spout from a broken fire hydrant we all paused for a moment to take in what happened. if you can get under it, you can sent it flying high if you hit it right. weapon melee from even a normal sidearm will move a car. the baton sweeps through the hordes. the spear has more range keeping you safer. in other notes. you can not carry a upload data/black box package and use the omnidirectional shield backpack. same problems as the ballistic shield back in the day. arc weapons can not break the shields that recharge. fire can not break the shields that recharge. a gattling barrage will put down a squid drop ship before it deploys if thrown on the flairs. orbital precision strike will put down the shielded spawn ships with ease. the non anti-tank mine options work really well when thrown in a city crossroad. any shielded enemy will need to really solid hits to kill. don't bring a slow reload or one time use if you can't follow up quickly enough, you'll only waste ammo. fire is amazing on the hordes, but hard use on ranged attackers. AMR is amazing outside of the city. the heavy machine gun on the car has fire rate options the same as the stratagem version and can be reloaded.
That mines strategy is genius. Also, I like taking impact grenades so I can wipe out a clump of zombies instantly without blowing through half my ammo. I’m assuming you can do it with any grenade, but I just like the impacts
@@Allthegoodhandlesaretakenlmao Purifier can do the same with charged shots, with the armor that provide explosive resistance, you can fire the charged shot near you to blow everything apart, including you, but you will survive, then stim and repeat.
Thanks for the info on gatling barrage and the drop ships. I tried it on the landed spawners and it didn't work, so I wrote it off. I'll give this a try..
Use this with the new directional shield plus peak physique armor and you're golden. Not only it stunlocks anything but the largest of enemies, but now that they buffed the peak physique passive to 100% melee damage, it also have good enough damage, this thing is busted fun

wonder if this works on downed bot dropships I'm getting real sick of people shooting them down and blocking samples/weapons/enemies especially the enemies since they can shoot you through the ship and you can't see or shoot them
Im almost certain theres some shit going on with helldivers to make them this affective, theres no way people who only got like a hour of training can actually do all this, like yeah mortality rate is high but if all we do is lore then that means helldivers are extremely skilled with weapons the moment they pick them up, or are all citizens trained while there young so that if needed they can just jump into being a helldiver?
think they forgot to set a weight for them, their quality isn't as important, generally they do their setpiece/exploding barrel job pretty fine, this thing tho needs tweaking

I've just been using good old ballistic shield + Peak Physique + Stun Baton.
It isn’t the sword but at least we have melee weapons.

It doesn't do a ton of damage, but it can kill. The attacks per sec are really high.
