Thanks for watching!
This man could make a fortune either writing a book or teaching people hands on how he did all the things he did to his class C. I would buy a book he wrote.
From your keyboard to Casey's moniter...
A book would be awesome!
But, this video is a good guide on how set up and live in a Class C RV….
I like it when he says “they’re lazy” so they keep simple…..
Excellent video!
I love Casey's response to what happens when he & Sharon need time away from each other..."We have a really big living room that she sends me to..." Great sense of humor!
I think it was fun listening to Bob get excited about new things he was learning! Sounds like this lovely couple are getting closer to each other through this experience.
It's 2020 and some of the electronics that were avant-garde in 2017 are passe now, but the biggest modification is timeless: the sticker on the dash saying "12 FOOT CLEARANCE" -- *genius* - pure genius!!!
Boy this guy has some great ideas. Reflectix in the fridge? genius...
So simple but what a great idea!
Jip Pl Meow. Don't overthink it, Jip - it's an expression of admiration for small innovative details that answer a need and can be so helpful. We (females) don't have a problem with expressing appreciation for things like that. It's not an exclusive territory, so we don't have a need to pee on it. You know what I mean? (:
christy7270 very informative video. I loved it!
Sound was clear and sharp picture very clear
I felt I was there with you.
Bob, you asked all the right questions .😋
The fridge was his wife's engineering, not his.
You gotta love engineers. Thanks for sharing.
Thanks for watching Brian!
Very impressive. This guy should teach seminars.
Used to work for Winnebago he probably does who knows right.
Your are absolutely right!!
This guy is a wonder! He is so knowledgeable. He is well versed in the systems of his rig. The unusual thing is he explains things in such a way any one could understand. He could write books and pay his way around the world.
Awesome Rig! Love the foil insulation in the frig, i'll add it to my RV this weekend....
It blew me away I'd never thought of or seen that before, Will.
I like that also. I am going to do this at home also!
My wife and I truly enjoyed the video. I had to watch it twice and plan to watch it again and take some notes. Lol. When he is done with that rig, we would like to have first dibs. Our heart is in a van but after having my colon removed 10 years ago, a bathroom is a must. This unit is perfect for us. It is obvious that Casey, like all the others you have videoed, are happy being free.
If a bathroom is a must I'd recommend one like it.
Casey has a great place to live and work and enjoy the country. Thanks Bob for continuing to inspire all of us.
Didn't get to see the interview. Will find it and watch! Loved this man's whole rig and how he gets ideas.
Well, your the smartest couple I seen yet.so well, prepare! Your Fantastic your the type that you'll be ready to go to the moon! 😁😁😁Your Brilliance!!
one smart fella with all those great ideas !!!
Indeed!
Nice nest on wheels.
There are many opinions about the perfect rig and IMHO when you see the owners with a smile in their face when talking about their RV, that it is the perfect rig for them.
Our opinion it is irrelevant no point in debating it.
Thank for sharing.
Casey had a really good point when he said (paraphrasing) that your current rig is the one that is perfect for you at that point in time. Our needs change.
CheapRVliving : An old video but I am confused why he has a nearly $4,000 Onan generator and a Honda 2000?
Mom Mom, as I understood from this video, he said the Honda gen which is the 1 on the front end of RV is dedicated to running his AC.
Freetasman Very nice & polite comment.
That reflectix-in-the-fridge is pure genius. I'm so doing that!
A lot of good, common sense ideas.
This dude has it all figured out!
Casey has put so much thought in his rig, it was a pleasure to tour.
CheapRVliving I pray I have enough money because I would do just the same. Thank you Bob once again you're amazing.
he is so generous with his IDEAS... anyone can adjust where they spend their money but I was just thinking he could benefit from an idea from the Danish traveler (@18min) who described taking the wall of the bathroom out so she has better access to the bed! It would also make the room seem larger! Of course he would have to find a place for his hanging stuff ( the only clutter in his Winn)
itsno1duh ... Please gives us the EXACT TITLE of Danish traveller, or how to find it.. I tried but did not find it. I really would like to see that video. thanks pal.
His IQ is on another level. But still comes across as likeable. Very detail oriented.
I wonder if possible to remove big mattress out? For me, put in smaller expandable bed and have storage under it. I really like everything else, all his modifications and so very functional.
I have a 35' Winnebago class A motor home and it came with 2 Coleman HE 11,000 BTU Air Conditioners. I can run both AC's and micro wave on a 110 30 amp service. Had one fail and yes they are about $100+ over a standard 13,500 BTU unit. Though I rarely run both at the same time
Bob you bring the best interviews! Thanks. Reflectix in the fridge door....brilliant!
Awesome set up and what a clever way to handle the fridge!!! Bob always finds the most genius people!
These two videos were very helpful. I put a deposit on a 27ft RV today. Going full time by June. Thank you
Congratulations Carol!
I'm also looking at a 27 footer. How much did you pay. I'm looking at a 2010 and they want 24,500 and in great shape
Wonderful rig and I enjoyed his enthusiasm!
We plan on buying a used 19 foot class C through Cruise America. No slide outs, built solid. I would like to get a motorcycle on a reciever hitch instead of a toad.
Wow, what a rig! I started the video over again and took notes. Thanks Bob and Casey!
Wow, this man has thought of everything! Nice to get the life workings of a master in just 28 minutes. Thanks for yet another great interviewee. You always get the best!
Casey's modifications were indeed well thought out!
What a nice set-up you have there. Thanks to Bob, Casey, and Sharon for the tour and info. I really like it when owners go into detail about their various upgrades, and the associated costs / savings.
It was our pleasure Mark.
Great vid. It's a very nice rig but I have to question a few things. The cell booster antenna is installed wrong. You can't stick a metal patch plate on a fiberglass roof and call that a ground plane. It needs to be grounded to the chassis. I doubt that antenna works at all Secondly, he has the solar electronics mounted right in front of and below the sink. Seems like not a good location but I guess that's better than mounting them in the shower. Last, the reflectix in the fridge wouldn't have any insulating value. It might keep things from rattling but seems like an expensive remedy just for that. Plus it would get all dirty quickly in the fridge.
wow he has quite the set up here. I wish I knew more about all this electrical stuff he has everything h perfect down to the Honda running the ac and the Guage with the transmission temp. wow.
It's always a pleasure to see such well thought out rigs.
Luv, luv, luv this. My favorites? (1) A/C that works! 💋💋💋
(2) Reflectix in fridge 💋💋
(3) Magnetic fans 💋💋💋
(4) Side window awning 💋
Bob, keep in touch w/these folks, they’re going to adding ideas as they go along.
This is one of your best video Bob great info thank you
What a compliment Richard, thank you.
This guy has some clever ideas. Thanks Bob!
It was our pleasure, S.
Clever girl
Best class c video I've seen yet. This dudes build is amazing
Another bomb video. Great class c
Very impressive! The magnetic fan is really amazing!!
So versatile the way they have it set up, agreed.
Loved everything, except the corner bed!
Shower door removal and Extend A Rod was a smart move. So much better.
I'd love to know what used to charge both engine battery and house batteries at the same time from the same solar panels. I need engine battery recharged. Would that work if house was Lithium and engine was Lead Acid?
Very nice rig! I have a Class C as well. I'm always having tire pressure issues. Must resolve that.
Wow! Very cool. I learned a lot RV'ing in a Class C.
Glad to hear it Cindy!
Systems engineering , brilliant example of how to make technology work for you , as you save money and resources .
Leaving a small foot print on your invirnment . This is amazing 30,000 for a house. Just what I need. Wishing you guys all the best as we work with nature as opposed to subjegating it.
Great video! Thanks Casey for sharing your home with us.
Wow! This was fun. So much good useful info from Casey! Is Casey an Engineer? He's got more great gadgets to make good things better, and life more comfy and pleasant and safe, than anybody I've seen yet! What a great host and all 'round live-wire creative personality - a surprise up every sleeve! That's a beautiful little home! Thank you, Casey & Sharon, for welcoming us into your wonderful home on wheels. Thank you, Bob, for another smashing interview! (:
Organized everything you need. A place for it. Yes!!!!! I do the same. Am new to the RV world, ( a year) so making a few changes with every trip. We went on an 18 day trip on a 1100 Yamaha motorcycle chopper back in 2010. Yes to Sturgis SD. From Washington State. We had everything we needed. Only 2 planned stops the rest were just what we could find. The only cost was camp spots. One hotel room for one night, and the 3 nights at the Buffalo chip out in a field. Food..... I packed some breakfast/protein bars but otherwise we ate out 😩 the biggest expense. It was my first time on the traveling on a bike. We didn't need for anything. I figure if I can downsize to that and be totally comfy and content. Sorry long story, but am so impressed with your ideas for our motorhome. Thank you for sharing
Another fantastic video, Bob. WOW, Casey is an amazing, engineering, forward thinking kind of guy. What an extraordinary mind God has blessed him with. Good stuff Bob. Thanks for taking us along.
Genius! Reflectix in the fridge... wow. What a knucklehead I am not to have thought of that! Best Idea I have seen for a while. Thank you Bob, for sharing this with all of us.
Sometimes the simplest solutions creep up on us, I hadn't thought of it either. :)
They have zippered sheets now!!Worth the money for sure for those type of beds!!
Finally a solution for Air Conditioning. Thanks for this vital information info. What a nice man. If I had to live fulltime in one I would like this model.
Casy is awesome. When he sees something--it seems that he finds a solution.
I had never heard of 3m VBH tape. It is those kind of things that make all kind of things possible. I have been at seminars where architects say that they use double sided adhesive to install wall panels on sky scrapers.
I just ordered some.
As usual you videos are a great source of information and inspiration.
Thanks marty we're using it today to install someone's solar panel.
Please thank Casey for the info. Also let him know that like many of your interviewees (is that a word....ha, ha, ha) my favorites keep growing. But, he is saved in my favorites for some of his ideas. I still have 3 years or Drs. statement. Wife wants me to retire now, but always brought up to stay close to family as the oldest "Wolf"... Lord willing I will be joining you guys/gals....I know how things change so I may be around in a rental in 2019 at a RTR, just to make sure that I am prepared by all of the fantastic minds that have come before....
very very nice wow clean setup 👍👌😎🍒
Thanks for watching Amy!
I will watch this forever I look forward to your VIDEOS and when I get out thear you will be my giud of info ooo RAH SEMPER FI
I know this is an old video, but we just bought an camper trailer last year and I love the ideas in this interview. The reflectix in the fridge door is genius.
Boy, I learned a lot from this one. That ultra-gauge was super cool. I'm going to get one, and using the reflectix in the fridge was great. Oh and that flexible panels not mounted. Those were the super three for me. Thumbs up Bob.
That's why this tour and the upcoming interview are on the longish end. So much grteat information to share!
A very pragmatic thinker...this guy is cool!
An engineer's mind!
That was sweet ! And what a wonderful way to live. You are on to something.I am envious I so want two do this. Thanks Bob.
Thanks for watching katbalou, glad you enjoyed it!
Good job Guys!
Great interview. Class C RV's are definitely my favorite. This was enjoyable to watch.
We all need a Casy in our lives. He thought of everything!
Finally, a well sorted class C with mods done right. Anyone could apply the same mods to 30-40 year old class C's on craigslist except for the Ultragauge.
Agreed, I found the many of his mods to be useful in different rigs as well.
This rig mirrors my ideals..and this could possibly be the video that will convince my wife completely to go full time haha. Very well done . Thank you
Lots of cool ideas - Thanks Bob
Casey and Sharon's mods are very practical and geared for fulltiming. It was a pleasure to visit with them.
I love a couple that sleeps separately and still is happy. probably happier
Thanks. Nice, happy guy. Looks like it's passing Cody's inspection too.
Indeed. :)
Wow!, for a continuous lifestyle of being a nomad, all else I would need is an economical compact vehicle to tow behind!🤗... Again, thanks for the interview guys!
Casey really researched and engineered a wonderful set up! Thanks Bob for sharing this interview and tour😊
Excellent Video, Bob, and Great Commentary by Casey. We really appreciate the great ideas and will be incorporating many of them in our 2004 21.5 foot Gulfstream BT Cruiser. (Ford E350)
Glad you got some ideas out of the video, it was our pleasure to film.
Great tips!!!! Especially with the shower door removal, solar panels, fans, ultra gage, and the refrigerator..So pretty much everything he said. Lol!! Thanks for sharing!
That's a BRILLIANT RIG!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I'm going to RV when I get my big cluttered house cleaned out and sold. This one looks perfect for me!
Cleaning and paring down is a great first step.
Bob, I like your van life idea but after seeing this rig I think a Class C with a 4x4 tow vehicle is most ideal for me. Thank you for thinking out of the box and being open minded to realize everyone's needs are different. Another great video.
Absolutely John. I posted why I chose my rig but the beauty of this life is having the freedom to choose the rig that's right for us. There's no one rig fits all.
Your generator & A/C system is great! Someone here was running a Honda 7000 generator, and I had to walk right up to it to hear it...it's that quiet.
good one, he's a pretty smart guy, some very good fridge ideas, Im going to copy that for sure....no more spilled stuff in the fridge! Thank you:)and not a ton of money spent! good job!
Thanks for watching Curt!
Thanks Casey, very impressive, loved all your creative ideas. 👍🏾👍🏾🙅🙅❤️👏🏽👏🏽👏🏽😍🙏Happy travels.
5 yrs later & this info is still good. Earlier on I would not have understood following the temp like Quartzsite, AZ to higher elevation like Flagstaff or other areas. Quartzsite earlier to me sounded like court side & playing tennis! 🎾 I'm learning & wondering how much more I've missed in the past. Very good videos! 🏆
Maybe this guy could get a job on the Enterprise. Love your videos Bob.
Wish I could buy this modified rig...a true "home on wheels!" Casey has thought of everything. Thanks, Bob...another great video!
Wow! He knows his stuff 👍
Saved this video for my hubby. This is exactly what we're looking for. We'd add all these goodies too.
Incredible! I really enjoyed meeting this couple through your videos and seeing their lovely home. What great ideas and personal philosophies!
Very knowledgeable and ingenious with their gadgets and gizmos.
Fridge foil is genius!
I thought so too Mick!
love this video, it was packed full of very useful info and Casey seems very knowledgeable, definitely has done his share of research. Thanks to both of you for all the insight
What a thorough and detailed man he is! Great set up ! And I have to compliment the awesome supportive wife to share life with
I'm still in a S&B, and I'm going to try some of his ideas around this place! This man is amazing. Great thinking!
I love the Winnebago, very nice on the inside
Oh, wow. 25'. That's just about perfect. It just looks so big on the outside!
Very good Bob and crew plus this rig, and the couple
We had (my wife and I) a 23 ft Eldorado Class C a few years ago and really loved the size. I like the cabover design because it sure keeps the cab a lot cooler. The down side was as we got older climbing up into the bed was getting harder plus the inside person always had to climb over the other person to get out of bed. The dinette would make into a 2nd bed but that was not convenient. We have gone without an RV now for a few years and really miss that life. The 23 ft was so easy to drive around and park, we never needed a tow vehicle. Plus we could park about anywhere and spend the night and nobody was the wiser. I enjoyed the video it all gives ideas. Thanks
exactly what this guy needs......may start with the truck camper, but this would be my dream home. Also they may want to just tow a trailer with 2-atvs'. Good video Bob. a lot of info on items being used to simplify life. Dam ONLY 22,ooo wow.....
I think this video interview is so very good. Thank you!
We recently purchased a 24 ft Coachmen Freedom Express 2006 for the same basic reason. Our little 22ft class B+ just had so little storage. We only paid $18,000 but now we're upgrading things. We were concerned about a towed as well. Our relatives who lived in their 5th wheel advised us to just rent a vehicle if we needed to explore the back roads.
Great ob Casey!!!! He needs a website.
"We can always grow." So true.
I have found that Change is the only thing that is constant. Great Interview..nice rig. Thumbs up!.
Yes I like Casey's jello plan anology.
Can't wait to meet you Bob at RTR I'm here now I thought I'd never make as a nomad, here I am take care Dave.
What a great interview with a really ingenious technical guy.
Thank you Katherine, I learned from Casey as well.
can't wait to hit the road myself, you Rock Bob.
Happy trails Kerry!
I am so pro van videos that I didn't think I would like this one but I have say it was awesome. Thank you so much...
I told a vandwelling friend of mine that this was one rv video she could definately benefit from.
Lots of really cool modifications.
Lots of info shared on this video. Thx for that.
Bob, this is the first time that you didn't ask if they were retired, how they supported themselves, & how much they lived on each month. Maybe that info is on Part 1 which I haven't seen yet. Thx for sharing another great story.
I am really impressed with this fella. Great attitude, great research, great mind to get it all set up and a great way to live. One of the best videos on your channel so far. I am inspired to do the same thing. Thanks
They have a smart setup! Thanks for sharing, Bob.
