I see expensive intensive rainwater harvesting methods but what about simpler, low-tech methods such as gully repair and rainwater harvesting earthworks such as check dams, bonds, swales, etc?
Frequent, smaller, high-placed, well placed earthworks can raise the water table and replenish established wells, this is durable and cheap. They are simpler and forgo pump and pipess that break down and wear out. They are cheaper, too, which makes them more accessible to more people

I wrote to the Minister of Water Resources
"The rain water (at Delhi) from the land/buildings is made to flow either on the roads and then in the drains or directly in the drains. In the beginning (in any locality ) from the roof top of the houses, it is the pure rain water flowing on the roads in the colonies or through the local drains. All rain water at this stage be harvested before it flows to the so called old storm water drains (which are now converted into sewer drains). Thus total rain water in whole of Delhi can be harvested and I have the capability to guide the Ministry of Water Resources".

    Stop making transition effects.
No one cares that the video moved perspective angles; it's useless interruption of noise and a fraction of a second picture that serves no purpose to to give attention to itself.
In psychology, it's Narcissism or Tourettes. In computing, it's that annoying nonsense of a phone alarm that doesn't turn itself off until you interrupt your work to cater to it.
