Maybe smashed partially dried lime peel for keffir lime leaves but galangal has no substitute which im aware of? (Soup will still be delish w/o galangal imo)

Oh galangal and kaffir lime leaves is very unique aroma I not think any herb and substitute ☺️

Should the prawn shells be washed thoroughly before boiling?
Better Wash prawn before we peel ☺️

Can I add Tamarindo paste instead of Red chilli paste?
You can add some Tamarind paste also great taste ( as other style of Tom Yum ) However the color and flavour will different with chili paste 🥰
@@thaicheffood4993 Made it twice, so easy and so delicious. Didn't have chili paste so I added Thai red curry and a bit of Tamarind paste. So good
