I find the rain to be no fun at all...I have driven on track in real life in the rain and it is not as hard as it is in iRacing. The new Corvette sure is fun to drive though.
Yeah it’s just super frustrating to drive in the rain in iRacing. I was really hoping this would be a dry race but clearly that wasn’t the case. I just wanted to learn the track haha
The Sachsenring is already kinda difficult, adding rain definitely ain't helping matters.. IMO it's somehow near impossible in the Mustang GT3, don't know what's with it. I switched to the Corvette after doing a couple of failraces in the Mustang there and I immediately started setting laps several seconds faster. Conditions aren't identical across sessions of course but it was still a wet track, so IDK, weird.
It’s funny, I was going to pick the Mustang for this race, but wanted to do a dry one in the Corvette just to compare. Part of me is glad I didn’t take it out then haha
Thanks! I’m liking both so far, granted the only racing I’ve done on either has been in the rain, so I’m going to wait until I race here in the dry to give my decision.
