I think Oulton Park is my 2nd favorite free track (behind Summit Point), especially this layout

Wow - the hairpin needs to be taken slower than you think! That last lap incident I think was on the other guy - another case of someone trying to drive right through you like you’re not there!

This place looks like hell. No interest. Nopety nope nope. Last lap, I think that's just a racing deal that went against you. You seem to have awful luck these past few days ): But anyways, I think he showed his nose and was committed to a lunge, and you moved every so slightly to the right before braking, with created the overlap, and the contact. He probably would've run you off the road with that kind of send regardless, but the contact in the rear was probably exaggerated by netcode, which is why you went flying off. Super unfortunate. You need to run some dirt oval or something where massive death seems to be acceptable to get out of this slump 😂

Oh gosh, I have been polling in the top ten for this track (which I love) and every sticking time, crashes happen right in front of me that are unavoidable since racing this track on Tuesday. It is so frustrating, so Bob I feel your pain.

I think that the last lap incident was more your fault. Basically a racing incident. He is not a jackass, he went just wide enough of you to send it on brakes, based on your positioning and angle (tight setup, yes, but he was just about to clear you), but you made a very slight correction into th middle of the road just before going on brakes. Basically a reactionary flinch to block the pass. So just take it in stride and be mindful of that. Good luck in future races.

Bob all the best in the new year!! let it be the worst that could happened. Question for you, I see you use IOverlay and you have a tyre compound there on the relative display. Does this show if someone has wet tyres ?? and what colour would that be. I know not in this dry race but in general. Reason is sometimes I go into the ... it will be raining race and I can figure out what tyre to put tso I hope this icon would solve my problems. Thanks !

so many bad things about this track, the walls on entry to 1, the dip into 1, grass all over, and two lanes of banking

This track in combination with wet track destroyed my sr and irating last week, diddent managed to get to the first corner without being hit from behind with full force

I only did one race here this week…it has historically been brutal and full of bad driving. Your race started out like that, good thing you didn’t get collected in that.

I REALLY need to get in one of these with you! Maybe Hockenheim or Portimao? I think part of your issue adjusting to LMDh isn't just the lack of ABS and TCS. I think you are overdriving and overshifting. These cars have immense grip, especially on NTMv9.5 currently, yet they make most of their laptime on corner exit cuz of the boost juice. I think you are trying to make time under braking like you would in a GT3, which is contributing to some of the lock-ups. Also, because of that mechanical grip and the close ratios of these gearboxes, along with the hybrid boost juice, you really only need 1st in the tightest of corners. I think all those downshifts, along with trying to accelerate in 1st with all that torque is causing rear instability as well. Love that you've taken this leap! (:

i remember doing FM6 Multiplayer Lobbies at this track layout, and that genuinely mightve been the worst experience of my life. So glad iRacing is letting me replicate that now lol

Ran this last week in Ferrari Cup. I just stayed clear of everyone and let carnage move me up to a middle result.

Please tell me you ran in the bottom split.. the incidents were terrible.

Quite possibly the very worst layout I've driven on in my 11.5 years. What an absolute joke. God Bless anyone running the 4 hour this weekend. Clownshow.

Full pace lap is your penalty for having the racing line on

Just finished my effort at this. Lots of fast people who don't know how to drive in traffic, or show any self reflection after accidents. Hell, I almost got cleaned up coming out of the pits for the formation lap. Other than that it's a fun layout for the GR86/MX5 cars. Wouldn't want to be in the GT4 though. Not sure how the endurance race will go here this weekend. On the one hand, lots of corners for SR. On the other, very few places for clean passes when the faster cars come through.

Think I will skip this one….Grand is such an odd layout.

I’ve never touched a Super car in iRacing. This is now my new favorite car to drive

These are IMO the hardest car to drive on iRacing, moreso than the Porsche Cup Car. It made me realize that my throttle pedal has no resistance and is hard to modulate...so that is being modded...

It's such a handful at what seems slow speeds , wish my street car was like this !
