Nice unboxing / rambling ;) Slight correction of solo character count: You can play with one character too, the game scales completely from 1-6 characters. See the end of the rule book for 1-2 character rules. For the tokens with double sides: We did not wanted to waste the gold markers back side, so we just added a few more secret doors, rubble, fire. So in case you need more from some of them, you can flip gold tokens or other dungeon markers to find more of a specific type. For the circle/square type: circle tokens are used on Character sheets or Initiative Board (Bonus or Monster Marker) and the square ones are for the dungeon (Gold, doors, rubble, fire, ...).

those tokens from the punchboard- I hope they are 1 on one side and 3 on the reverse? Great stuff. I resisted the urge to get but will likely pick up the 2024-5 edition. I shouldn't because I need a little npc motivation but I hope the books have enough.
The shape makes even more sense: they're on the opposite side of only some of what look like trap cards (pits, flames, fallen rubble). Then some of those tokens don't have gold. Not sure what the connection is, but clearly it has a purpose. I should have thought to check that. Thanks! Waiting for the 2nd printing is almost always the right idea

@@JAlanRykerGames Same. I'm a game hoarder (I should be renamed "The Greedy Addicted Gamer") and have bought so many games in the past 4 months I have a pile I cannot get to. Life gets in the way and I'm alwayas so tired that when I sit down to read the rules I fall asleep. So many cool games, so little time. I'm strictly solo because nobody else wants to play these type of games with me. And vice versa I can't stand what I call non-interesting games like Monopoly and Clue that everyone else wants to play. 😂
@@joefell5311 I feel you. My game purchasing has almost stopped for this year, but I spent 2 years buying way too many games! Also, I thought I didn't like board games for decades because of games like monopoly
