Your best instructions yet! When I drill which is not often enough, I start out with my weakness, which is dinking, back hand. We then next work on the resets. I think the reset is the most important skill if you want to improve. If you can have a decent 3rd shot but if you don't have resets, you can't get to the NVZ for your chance to score points.
Return of serve........ Deep.....in the middle........with very little pace.........These are my goals with return of serve. Deep (keeps player back), middle (cuts down on angles of return and lets my partner know where the ball is coming from, very little pace (gives my 80 year old body, lol, time to get to NVZ) Love your channel and tell all my playing friends to tune in....ty
Since 3rd shot drives are more common than 3rd shot drops in rec ball, the 4th shot should be a block rather than a volley most of the time. Also, a reset that is too deep may put the ball in the banger’s “wheelhouse”!

Very true!
You are so so right. First four shots and resets make it happen, the other stuff is low percentage. Thanks man.
Exactly! You got it!
Replay analysis is such a great tool. That's what I do now as often as I can.
That’s awesome!

We appreciate it !
Great tips all around. I always work on the transition zone. So many points are won and lost there in my humble opinion
I agree!
I practice my backhand flick a lot. Number of times I've used it? Very few. You're so right, it's all fundamentals.
Good stuff!

I rather volley the 4th at my opponents feet
My girlfriend needed this not gonna lie, I tell her just to watch you when she needs an explanation on something 😂
😂
Banger for life! Yes, im a 3.0
lol
Fancy shots 10% of the time? My experience is no more than 3%-5%. Fundamentals count regardless of what level you play.
It's a great point, fundamentals are vital!
Why u always spin ur paddle after a nice shot 😂
I spin it after missed shots too lol
I do the same. Not purposely, but i do notice myself not overgripping as much
