@@AndreasLevenko i will watch the rest ;) i started table tennis about 1 year and a half and at my club we really don´t have a regular coach, we normally just try to improve by ourselves so good guides are appreciated ;)
Great vid as always!! Your stretching video helped me the most so far, that one is also quite promising! Regarding new video idea, I would really appreciate a video about nutrition. What do you eat before and during a long practice session/match and how much before you eat? I know this is a subjective area and varies to people, but this is a topic I never heard about from a table tennis point of view and I am curious what works for you. Keep it up the excellent content Andreas! Yes BOI!!!
Thank you very much, I am more than happy that the stretching routine has helped you 🙏🏼 Wow…What a cool idea 👍 I will definitely try make a video about that topic 👍👍 All the best and YES BOI 😁
Great video Andreas 👏 your point about the timing is really interesting. I find the transition from forehand to backhand so difficult, I often rush the backhand and take it super early 😭 But I’m slowly starting to take it later, at point 2 which is helping me a lot
Nice! I would rally like to see a topic of you about anticipation. The exact moments of when to watch opponent and when starting following the ball + body movement..
Jesus Christ loves you and died for your sins, we all sin and deserve hell but Jesus (God) died for our sins, paying the price for them. Believe this and you will be saved
Great vid! I saw a Chinese video recently where they suggested a modern grip, that is backhand-grip only. The idea is that the game is now so backhand-oriented and that with fh is easier to put power anyway. I have been trying it for the last two weeks and it feels nice and a lot faster to switch. The drawback is that now the fh grip is stiff, but this actually allows for some wide attacking angles (like a hook-ish serve) with more sidespin.
Good evening, Mr. Andreas! I must say that your backhand is really superb and speedy. Good explanation, I like it. I am also a regular player but when it comes to Topspin receiving, I experience a bit difficulties. How to react or counter to sudden and fast Topspin? I usually counter it by blocking and it usually helps but when the Topspin gets more intense and swifter, when it is usually the third and fourth topspin, it backfires. Are there anyways of effectively countering or reacting to Topspin? Some say counter it by Topspin hitting. But when it comes unexpectedly and fast, it's usually hard to react. Any tips on that? If, yes please share it in your videos. I appreciate that. Thumbs up! Cheers!
For this video I like the two grip methods he showed for backhand. This answered a question I had a while ago about switching grips. Any tips for learning the second method?

Excellent can you make video third ball attack after forehand pendulum serve (with all possibilities such as short return, long return from the opponent). Similarly for forehand reverse pendulum serve (with all possibilities such as short return, long return from the opponent)?
Very good Video! Love your content. It´s very helpful. Personally I am always in the Backhand grip, would you say that this is bad? Would yo adapt for forehand? I play near the table and aggressive. And with the hitting point of the ball would you say its the same with forehand?
It is also a good idea and method with a backhand grip 👍surely not wrong at all. The hitting point for forehand depends on your style. But usually it needs more time and can be either the most early one or the last in my opinion. For the backhand I always recommend fast hitting point near the table 😊👍
Great video! I use a forehand dominant fixed grip, but now I feel the backhand needs to be much stronger. Do you think it would be possible to change my grip, between forehand and backhand to improve my backhand even at 61?

Isn't the pro modern grip one that you always use sort of a BH grip but with slight adjustment of thumb position? (FH thumb sits on rubber but in BH it moves a bit higher to a thing simi6to your BH in method 2)
Can be a good alternative to, but as I always love to say is that everything is individual. There is no straight right or wrong. I give the direction, but you need to find your way 😊💪
Hi, there are two ways to make an attack against backspin ball. One is you counter the spin with your own spin. In this case, mostly the ball is taken on phase 3 and it’s a high arc loop. Another way, is to open the face and overpower the backspin with power. When to use what? Please demo and explain.
I often got the Problem that I hit the Edge or that i hit the ball so weird that i play very Slow with a lot of Spin. How can I learn to Control my Blade better?
Memorize the exact racket angle that you like the most, the one you play the best shots. Then practice your backhand with this exact angel and replicate it as often as possible so it becomes a habit 😊💪👍
There is actually a third way to hold the racket. Playing the forehand with the backhand grip (thumb out slightly over the rubber). That is even faster when switching between forehands and backhands. Fan Zhendong, Lin Gaoyuan, and a few other Chinese players do it.
There is no right or wrong. Feel your body, maybe it will suit you good to add even more hop than others. Your body is different than mine or your teammate, so feel free to try out many options and see what suits you the best 😊🏓🤝

You’re welcome 😊 when I was around 4 years old 🏓
@AndreasLevenko oh, damn.
Thanks for pointing out some fundamentals about foot positions. Is it also true that a flexible blade will be more backhand dominant?
Hey thank you for watching 😊
I would not say that.
You can also be forehand dominant with a slower flexible blade 💪
@@AndreasLevenko so what is your theory about what causes some players to be dominant on one side?

Hi Andreas. Thanks for tips.
Don't you use your left leg to generate power for backhand drive/topspin?
Hey sure, I would say your left hip 😊
You can use your left hip or also left leg.
Kindly try out everything so you can see what fits you the most 🏓💪
Just discovered your channel. I've just realised that I do the same as the second method. I'm just an amateur. 😂

When you use wrist and squeeze forefinger and thumb at point of impact doesn't that tighten up the wrist and prevent a full whippy like wrist shot?

2hAfternoon
