I was so excited to beat 99% of pickleball players, but then it hit me; as it stands, there are 40K players who have watched this video, and they have a 99% chance of beating me 😢.
Not if you do these things better than them! 😎
3 great tips Jordan! I'll share with my partner! Gonna work on these. Cheers!👍👍

Always right on young man. Love your channel
Thanks for watching!
These are great tips for me, although I followed the first partial and second in total, but third is to apply in the court. Thank you so much!
You’re welcome !
Thanks!
No problem!
Question for 3-3.5 mixed doubles rec play. The other day an opponent screamed at my partner and I for hitting the ball too hard, slamming, banging, whatever you want to call it. At this level there are lots of pop ups and poor positioning. Our opponents were playing well off the kitchen line, mid court and back to the baseline. My partner and I were at the kitchen and driving the ball deep. We could hit the ball softer and still keep them back but when an opponent pops the ball up so that it is in my ‘green light’ zone, I do tend to hit it hard and deep looking for a winner. In rec play is this considered poor sportsmanship?
Not at all. Sounds like you need to find different people to play with
“Stop winning” it’s bad sportsmanship. By the people complaining
Go for it! Just try to stay away from their face. Feet is always fair play!
No
When playing weaker players practice certain shots. Beating them up is wrong. And yes find better competition. Use rec games to sharpen your skills.
How can I hit every shot at my opponent’s feet and at the same time hit most of my shots in the middle? How do I get my opponents to stand in the middle? Won’t that make you predictable and have them guarding the middle more?
You can still hit to their “toe line” and hit aggressive dinks while making them hit tough shots in the middle of the court.
Putting more shots in the middle of the court will just make you more consistent overall, you just need to work on hitting your shots and keeping them below your opponent’s knee level.
@ so hit it in the middle where their feet would be if they were there?
Yes, mixing in middle shots and angle shots is key.
Jordan, I'm interested in taking daily lessons from you. Do you provide this opportunity? I'm not interested in being part of a group. I'd like to come to your location and stay for a few days with daily scheduled times for coaching. Contact me if you're open to the arrangement. For the record, I'm a new player and a very active 74 year old.
For Daily lessons, not at this time.
Our 5-day intensives are an amazing opportunity to work with me along with other passionate players that are at your same skill level.

I like the video, but Strategy 1 when both are at the NVZ doesn't work well against tall players.
It can work well, as the pros hit towards the middle as well.
They mix in court court balls with middle balls which keeps their opponent out of rhythm as much as possible.
*Cross court
