Filfla - Ghar Lapsi - 4K (Short Version)

We flew our Phantom 4 from Ghar Lapsi to Filfla, total distance of 10.093 km, in around 23 minutes.
This a condensed 6 minute version, here's the full flight - • Filfla - Ghar Lapsi - 4K
For anyone who wishes to try this, the battery JUST made it (landed on 10%) and the wind gets quite strong the further out you go. The wind direction was not in favour of us, best conditions would be with wind behind you when you are going or coming back. Good luck!

Nice film. Brought back fond memories of being stationed in Malta in 1966 with the Fleet Air Arm at HalFar..my father served with 728 Squadron and we lived up on the hill at Kalafrana. I remember sitting on the cliffs and watching Buccaneers bombing Filfla with practise bombs. I wonder how big the island was before it became a target...

Isn't max range 3.5km? How did you get it out to 10km?

sheepcute the range on the Phantom 4 is actually 5km, it was 5 there and 5 back, just over 10 total

Great Video! I often looked at Fifla with my P3 in my hand wishing it would get out that far...and now you can with the P4.
I notice the horizon is tilted though...I have the same issue with the P3....would have hoped they'd have fixed it by now....

You can adjust tilt of gimbal manually in DJI Go app
