Hey guys! In this video we have a 2013 Ford Fiesta and the radio isn’t working! This is a very common issue! If everything else works but your radio and your radio features, you have a burnt radio unit.
You need to take the radio out and replace the radio!
In this video we show you exactly how to accomplish that.
Take off the radio and get a replacement radio from an online store or auto parts store junkyard or salvage yard!

This might be helpful for the radio of my mothers Fiesta.
The controls on the steering wheel work, i can turn the Volume up and down but on the main control panel nothing happens, as you showed it in your video description.
Do you have any tips, where to get this radiobox cheap? Cheaper than in in a Ford dealer?
So the number on the box matters or doesn’t matter ? And could I get this like at an advance auto parts or, where would be a good place to get one?
I have a question my 2013 ford fiesta radio went out but also my car would be turned off and I would be in my house and it sounds like bottle rockets or fireworks going off in my car lol I took the radio fuse out and it quit the firework noise!! My fuse is good...do u think its my radio unit or a short somewhere??

Love my 2010 WS but the original CD/radios are complete trash. Mine would freeze randomly depending on the weather. In winter wouldn’t come in till a good 15 minutes into the drive and once turned itself up to max volume - I had to pull over and wait on side of road even switching vehicle off would not stop the radio. I would hear my radio startup during the middle of the night randomly as well! Called dealer they said they no longer stock as spare parts. Ended up having an Alpine flatscreen professionally installed and now very happy. Old radio and fascia stored in a cupboard incase I ever sell. Don’t waste time like I did looking for a Ford part, only option is secondhand and they seem to all be trash.
Mine sometimes turns on randomly and makes excessive static but most of the time its like this. Would this be the grounding wire?

Hi! I see the CD button and the eject button, but where is the slot to insert a CD?
My problem is mine is stuck on emergency mode. I don't know how to get it in regular mode work work. The cd player and everything work, it just won't do anything in that mode. Any ideas?
Try disconnecting the negative side of the battery before replacing the radio. My volume knob controller dies and if left alone it will drain the battery it seems. Disconnecting the battery fixes it, seems like a software bug of some kind that creeps up once in awhile.
How do you reprogram the new one once you have it in

I have a problem with my Ford Fiesta 2009.. when I use AUX the Left side specker didn't work but with Radio nd CD it's work very good.....!! Can someone please guide me what's the acutely problem is this?????

is there a way to just to replace the on/off button? volume control knob does not have accurate response. I can change the Volume level only through steering control switch. I have 2015 Ford Fiesta.
Hi I got a question! I got a 2012 Ford Fiesta and the problem is with My stereo and the entire center console does not work, it only works if I step on the brake pedal, only then all the buttons on the console work. which may be?

Hi! Where is your CD player slot located? My mom just purchased a 12’ with a stock CD player but I can’t find where to insert the CD. I see the cd button and the eject button but no slot for the actual CD.

That's an excellent question. You can always disconnect the battery.. but I wouldn't suggest that. I say you take it to an audio shop and try to get them to clean the ground or replace it for you. everything on mine works except for the media, including the radio. it keeps me from using bluetooth or aux. would this fix that issue??
mine was doing that i kept pressing the phone button everyday until it eventually started coming on a little bit & once i was able to connect my bluetooth to it for the first time, each time after that i would have to connect to the bluetooth on my phone & then the media screen would come up
My satellite radio button and CD button works but the rest doesn’t, I checked the fuses and they all seem to be fine, do u think the radio box will fix my issue?

we belive that is a powertrain light to be honest.. looks like a little gear icon with an exclamation point.
No it's actually just to say you can update the settings via USB port

I currently have the radio with the very small display like in the video but i would really like to have a slightly bigger screen.
I already called some dealerships but they don’t even have a clear answer as they have never replaced a radio before 🤷♂️

sync problem !!100% if radio button no reaction , this will help reset by voice command activate the radio or usb then it will play
Does that fix the display? My radio & display always go out together. Comes on when it wants. May be out for days then decide to eork for weeks then out again. I AM SO FRUSTRATED!!!

What plugs? U mean take out the radio & check those plugs?
Sometimes it comes on when I bang the dash on top of display.
Do you have to unplug the battery to take the radio out?

Mines is pitch black the radio screen what could it be?
If you shine a torch/flashlight at it (it can be tricky to get the correct angle for the light so this works) and you can still see text on the display (e.g. time, radio station, door open messages etc.) when you, then it's the backlight (which shines through the LCD to light it up). If you can't see any text/numbers, then it's something more serious than that. Mine has the backlight fault, which I'm going to see if I can fix.

Yes it did! The unit was defective. Very common issue.

Look I just wanna bump Ford my radio won’t play music it just was Ford audio welcome and it sometimes play but I need someone to tell me how to fix it plz😂🙄
Hey I totally feel that frustration. I have been in your position in the past. You can always get an aftermarket radio and install it lol 😆 but trust me I get you.. you have to replace the radio unit. Most of them were defective. Good luck finding a good one.

So we’re is the fix if you don’t know how to fix it why say fast and easy fix
Just say how to replace the radio
Only need to remove fuse and working perfectly
Somehow my car wouldn't start with radio fuse pulled. Piece of junk. The deafening static stopped but it would somehow kill the battery 🤷♀️ and not start. I'm gonna unhook the radio and just leave it 😑
@@dors6143did you find a resolution to this. Need to get rid of the static noise. Did you disconnect the box?
