Ford needs to put a recall of their radios!!! I have a 2015 ford fiesta and our radio is making that same obnoxiously loud noise even when the car is off and keys are out!!!
I’ve been having this problem on my ‘15 fiesta on off for about 6 months but it’s just now gotten out of control. I’ll look into a new radio but I’ll probably just take the fuse out🤷♂️
Buddy of mine had the same issue. Fuses were good, pulled you the head unit and shook it around tapping all over. I did get it to finally show am frequency and buzzing/static, switched to FM and tuned to an actual station and it works flawlessly. Even paired my phone via Bluetooth.
I was having so many issues with my Sync system only playing the radio. I checked the fuse & it was fine. I had heard someone say to try removing the fuse for 20 minutes then putting it back. I removed it, started my car for 20 min, put it back and it still didn’t work..BUT a few hours later it suddenly did. I had to do this again a few weeks later, which is very annoying, but at least it’s something because driving without my music makes me cranky!
The problem is the negative terminal on your battery under your hood. If you have the static bursts and freezing radio. Your car isnt getting enough power due to excessive corrosion. CLEAN IT
@@robchopsame, just cleaned the terminals, slapped it a few times, about to pop the head unit out and replug, if that doesn’t work I will be doing fuses
For the 'Media & Phone' button they technically have the same function of bringing it to the same menu layout. However, my scenario is once you hit any of those buttons the settings list won't display. Only thing displays is the USB logo and 'SYNC' below it. The icons on the monitor shows an empty battery and the bars for the 3G "internet connection" is flat-lined. Overall issue isn't the radio it's the Bluetooth connection between the car and Google Pixel 2
literally 😭 i even replaced the fuse…TWICE and still nothing lmao🗿 maybe it’ll just come back on one day idk or i’ll take it out and put it in again…but til then mine doesn’t get farther than that either
Thanks for the post. I shut the car off and it still makes scratchy noises after it's locked up, through the speakers. I unplugged the on off button on the radio that's with the lock button also. It still scratches through the speakers.Gonna get another one. Thanks again.
I have had the same issue, mine started we of 2020, I bought my car April of 2017. I've just kept the audio turned off and have been listening to music with my phone. I tried changing all the fuses even though they themselves weren't blown. I have no idea what to do with it now.
@@Mkl33333 omg literally having the same issue as soon as I unlock my car doors I hear the scratching noises coming from speakers it’s so annoying I plug my AirPods in while driving lol probably dangerous
I have a Ford Fiesta 2012. The radio was not working. We tested the fuses and eve had a scan ran at the auto parts store. They said all was well. I though I was going to need a new radio and was stalling before I did that then I just took hold of the volume knob as I drove down the street and lifted up hard on the knob as I rotated it and the volume signal came on and the radio works.
My wife’s Ford Fiesta 2015 1.0 ecoboost radio just stopped working, booked into garage, diagnosis was loss of communication between ecu and stereo. Fuses checked and all okay, so they disconnected the battery, left it for 15 minutes, reconnected battery, stereo back to life enter radio code, working fine now. Was told by ford technician if it happens again check fuses if ok disconnect battery for 15 mins reconnect etc. Cost for all this £34, could have told me over phone to try that and only cost of phone call then.
my stereo does this on my car(2013 ford focus) cuts off every couple of weeks. If you leave the car for a few hours it goes back to normal or if you remove and reinsert the fuses
I was having the same issue, I disconnected the battery for about 5 mins, and now my menu is working.... but now the phone button isn't working lol. Someone Help!!
I got the same problem on my car a 2016 fiesta se,I had this issue for about 3 months due to my job I couldn't take it to dealer earlier so,I take it to a Ford dealer and the guy said it's a electrical problem but they don't have too many electricians lol... He wants me to leave the car for 8 to 9 weeks 😂😂..I walked out...how do I fixed?.. Change the dam radio!!,that easy..
Did you check behind the glove box? When you unlock and tip it forward squeeze both sides inward which releases the whole box to pivot down on the bottom hinge; the fuse panel is behind on the firewall.
I pulled the fuse. Put it back. Now my car wont start. So i cleaned a terminal and still same problemshouldve left it the hell alone my life is ruined rn cuz i couldnt bare this loud ass squealing noise coming out of my speakers
Someone please help me.. I just got a 2016 Ford Fiesta SE. My display does not stay stuck on the ford main screen like yours did. My display is able to show what radio stations I can put on, and it even shows that I am able to connect through bluetooth BUT I am not able to hear a damn sound even when I turn up the volume all the way. I tried the new fuse thing. I noticed #10 was fine and the car was missing #24. I thought okay lets just go buy one, so I do and inserted #24 in. I still get NO SOUND. This is very frustrating! Do I need a new radio then? Please help
I have a problem with my Ford Fiesta 2009.. when I us AUX the Left side specker didn't work but with Radio nd CD it's work very good.....!! Can someone please guide me what's the acutely problem is this?????
Because this car has the airbag light off panel below the emergency flasher switch, we are screwed because an android complete or top display will not fit because the clips for the top panel do not match and for the complete display it will not fit at all. Don't waste your money on those items. I did but was able to return them.
I had the EXACT same issue with my 2013 fiesta. Worked for about 3 years then quit. Tried every solution I could find over the last couple years including checking fuses, unplugging battery, etc. Nothing helped. Was considering ordering a radio to replace with but decided I would mess with it one more time today. Took the radio unit completely out of the dash and cleaned and inspected all connections. Plugged the connectors back in and still not working. Was pretty aggravated at this point and smacked the hell out of the bottom of the unit. Instantly started working. Not sure if there was a loose connection inside the unit or possibly some trash of some sort shorting a connection but everything including voice control is working again.
