Owned a 9.5'+ Burmese Python for several years. Sebastian, called him Bass. He was a lot of fun. He was handled a lot. I used to wear him under a big sweat shirt or parka and take him to my college classes with me. Introduced a lot of people to how amazing snakes feel and act. He didn't like dogs. He loved tide pools and any other largish body of water I could let him swim in. I moved across the the US and didn't want to spend a week with him in my car. I good friend really wanted his as he was a lovely light yellow with chocolate colored spots and was very easy to handle. She had a big female that she wanted to breed him too. Unfortunately over the years I lost touch but I am sure he was very well treated. Snakes can be fun but I will never again own one that can get over 8-10'.
I got to hold a burm that size when I was 10 they're awesome. But with my funds and available space, I'd rather use that enclosure space and electricity bill for a whole bunch of more smaller critters. My Children's Python, Sirona, will fit just fine for now. Lol.
Oh Jade you did you’re best with the knowledge you had. You gave Terri a great loving home. Please don’t be harsh on yourself. I hope you open up your home to more reptiles. Snakes and other reptiles really are amazing. Thanx to you and this show more people get to see that.

When they talked about it causing issues if the family checked in- it is no joke. My daughter's cat died when daughter visited her at the vet. They managed to bring her back around but then started having mini strokes and died around 10pm. My daughter felt so torn for either the visit getting the cat so happy she had a heart attack or not being there when kitty passed that night. No easy answers. The vet was amazing and stayed with kitty at night while she was in house for stabilizing. Vet's are amazing- I couldn't deal with the amount of emotion they have to deal with.
I know most people don't see snakes are loving pets, but this green tree python was so incredibly well behaved and sweet. I can't imagine losing my snakes like that. I know they won't live forever, but I hope I still have quite a few years with them.

It’s kinda cool because no matter how much you try to tame and handle green tree pythons, a lot of them will always be little introverts and will strike when you try to interact with them. But Terry didn’t strike once despite the pain she might’ve been in, tears were shed.

I don’t go out of my way to see snakes but seeing Terry and how beautiful she was with her owner made me warm up to her. I teared up when they said she didn’t make it and then to see the final scene did it. So upsetting. 😢😢💚💚
This is why I'm on top of my parasite prevention for my dog and guinea pigs, ticks are SO dangerous here. It was nice to see Jackie on here, she's seen my guinea pigs before she opened the Bird and Exotic Animal Vet. She's my "back up" vet because she's further from me than my first choice vet. It was great to see little Wolfgang, he was so cute!! As soon as his owner said he was drooling I knew it was a tooth issue. One of my guinea pigs has a slight misalignment of her teeth and if she stops eating for a day she gets a spur, drooling and "funny faces" are something I've seen before. Hopefully, Wolfgang gets more hay in his diet to keep those teeth grinding. It was very sad to hear such a beautiful and loved snake passed away. RIP Terry.
Terri is too old to be shedding that often. Boston is awesome!!! Hopefully he improves. It’s awesome that he’s ok and going home, his hair will grow bk.
I am so naive, I really did not even think that a snake/lizard Pet Owner, would have as deep bonding as with other Pets. Please forgive me. I was very ignorant; this is why we enjoy the VLOGS & TV Programs of BONDI VET, we really Dom learn & not feel stupid that we did not know. Also, we all truly understand the reasons our Parents would sit us all down to watch the Animal kingdom programs & then we would discuss after or during our meals. We all ate together 18+ People around the table, even if one was not eating it was a whole Family Affair if one was home. Thank you all for sharing. God Bless Everyone ☺️🤗🙋😷😷😷🙏🙏🙏
Only some ticks cause paralysis. If the dog is on routine tick and flea meds there isn't typically a need to look through them unless they have been out in the bush. Sometimes though, like in this case, one can sneak one tick can sneak past. That what we do with my dog anyway 🤷♀️
I feel so bad for Fade, she loved her Terry snake so much, and to loose her after the hope of recovery...that's just crushing! I wish I could offer her a hug.
Lol.
I think millions of people are in love with that dog now What a perfect animal......
This was an emotional video. But I am happy Boston made it. Poor Terry .😥🐍🐍🐍
Oh Jade you did you’re best with the knowledge you had. You gave Terri a great loving home. Please don’t be harsh on yourself. I hope you open up your home to more reptiles. Snakes and other reptiles really are amazing. Thanx to you and this show more people get to see that.
Totally not me crying because of Terry and the photo of her with a party hat
Terry was a beautiful snake, she seemed so gentle
This was a sad and happy video, Wilson gave everyone a scare but he's ok. So sorry about Jades snake Terry. 🙂❤😪
Wow, I had stuff in common with each of these sweet hearts. That's the point though isn't it? My heart deep sorrow for the loss of Teri and the joey's mother. So glad for the others' recoveries and hopeful for them all. You all are such loving heroes and kind to share these stories with me.♡
Now I have studying to do on hormonal issues among reptiles. Be safe and love every minute you can. ♡ive
Yay look forward to your uploads always!
Same :)
I'm so sorry, how awful for your daughter. There is no right or wrong way, wish it would have turned out differently.
Aww Boston is beautiful 😍 bless him he looks so sad 😭
I know most people don't see snakes are loving pets, but this green tree python was so incredibly well behaved and sweet. I can't imagine losing my snakes like that. I know they won't live forever, but I hope I still have quite a few years with them.
I gave my bearded dragon, Tim, about a million hugs after this episode...
I am so sorry for the loss of Terry...it made me cry! May you all find some comfort and peace knowing how loved Terry was!!!!
Terry is the sweetest green tree python I’ve ever seen 🥺 I’m 19 mins in so I really hope she’s okay as well as Boston 😢💔
Jade, I'm so sorry for your loss. It's apparent you love your animals. But thank you for sharing your experience as it helps to showcase snakes as worthy of love.
Oh Jade, sweetheart......I know how those situations go....you do the surgery, you hope for the best, and they still decide to pass. I've handled it with multiple animals as just a barn hand, not even as a vet, I'm so so sorry for you Jade! Terri was a gorgeous snake!
This was a brilliant episode. Thank you Bondi Vet team!
HAIII GUYS!!!! y'all still inspire me since day one, I cant wait to be a vet one day! ❤❤❤❤😻😻
RIP terry and I’m glad that Boston survived pneumonia and a paralysis tick
If I lived somewhere where paralysis by tick is a thing, I would be the crazy crew cut lady with the bald pets...
So glad my cat is an indoor cat! Those ticks are so scary!
@@pants6416 For real. I feel lucky because except for the occasional vet trip my girl is lady of the house all the way. She doesn't seem the slightest bit interested in going outside - in fact I sometimes wonder if she knows or cares what's on the other side of the door.
38:54 i felt so sad when she said see you at home. 😭😭
My doggo hates going outside so yep he just doesn’t get up lol
I'm so happy they upload full episodes!! That's rare. I had never heard of this show before a week ago and now I'm hooked! Subscribed! Love from Canada 🍁
From Massachusetts here, rooting extra hard for our capital, Boston!
And the airport in Boston.... Logan!!
This has to be the most suspenseful and saddest episode of bondi vet, I've seen.🥺🖤rest in peace Terrie! And good job Boston!!
It’s kinda cool because no matter how much you try to tame and handle green tree pythons, a lot of them will always be little introverts and will strike when you try to interact with them. But Terry didn’t strike once despite the pain she might’ve been in, tears were shed.
Totally agree! RIP sweet girl 🐍
I appreciate the work of veterinary staffs all around the the world
I'm not a snake person, but this one is truly beautiful
I love how she didn't scold hm for seeing on the floor - but praised him for him
Dr. Lewis looks like he is related to Dr. Chris Brown. I love Australians!
I’m so sorry for your loss. I’m sending lots of love and support from me and my female corn snake Nagini ❤️ we both feel your pain and we’re here for you.
I am so sorry beautiful Terry, the Green Tree Python passed away. I love snakes and as a keeper, my heart hurts over this one.
Poor Terri 😭😭 i was really hoping shed make it and recover well. My heart BROKE when i heard she didnt make it through the night!
I didnt think Boston was gonna make it, but im so glad he did pull through in the end.
I wouldn't own a snake, but man, Terri made me cry......Hugs for Jade.
I never thought I would be so affected but I was, what a beautiful creature, and the lovely dog he was so good, wonderful work 🙋🏼♀️🌼
As a snake owner there’s nothing worse than not knowing what’s wrong or if they’ll even make it tmr. RIP Terry
I don’t go out of my way to see snakes but seeing Terry and how beautiful she was with her owner made me warm up to her.
I teared up when they said she didn’t make it and then to see the final scene did it. So upsetting. 😢😢💚💚
are the male vets really tall over there they all look massive to me
Not the one the one that fixed the guinea pig.
I am so naive, I really did not even think that a snake/lizard
Pet Owner, would have as deep bonding as with other Pets.
Please forgive me. I was very ignorant; this is why we enjoy
the VLOGS & TV Programs of BONDI VET, we really Dom
learn & not feel stupid that we did not know. Also, we all
truly understand the reasons our Parents would sit us all
down to watch the Animal kingdom programs & then we
would discuss after or during our meals. We all ate together
18+ People around the table, even if one was not eating it
was a whole Family Affair if one was home.
Thank you all for sharing.
God Bless Everyone ☺️🤗🙋😷😷😷🙏🙏🙏
That guinea pig is adorable!
Why don’t Aussie dog owners check their dogs for ticks constantly???
Only some ticks cause paralysis. If the dog is on routine tick and flea meds there isn't typically a need to look through them unless they have been out in the bush. Sometimes though, like in this case, one can sneak one tick can sneak past. That what we do with my dog anyway 🤷♀️
@@lizzyp6439 Thanks for your message! Good information.
We do usually if a paralysis tick is caught its caught in the first 24 hours
I feel so bad for Fade, she loved her Terry snake so much, and to loose her after the hope of recovery...that's just crushing! I wish I could offer her a hug. I hope her friends &family get a blown up framed copy of Terry in the hat for her...as a memorial gift. I think it would help Jade heal. I hope she's doing ok. RIP Terry, you were a beautiful little green lady!
Hoping Bostons coat goes back to normal. He's such a good boy.
It takes a good two to three sheds, but yes, it'll be fine.
@@maeganevans9463 not quite unfortunately, the woolly undercoat should grow back within a year, however the guard hairs only shed every few years, and unfortunately sometimes won't even grow back fully. That's why it's highly reccomended you don't shave a double coated dog unless it's for a reason such as this.
Boston's recovery from tick paralysis and pneumonia was monumental!
I actually cried to see Boston with his fur shaved. I know it was absolutely necessary but he looked so sorry for himself x
okay but I legimately teared up when I heard that the snake passed away ;m;
what beautiful little girl, and very friendly considering that green trees are usually not very willing to be handled
*Ticks are usually found around the neck and chest area; in the US our ticks cause Lyme Disease*
*I have a Female Pinstripe Ball Python* 💜🐍
Dr. Danni is an angel. Poor Jade and Terry.
So that’s what a shaved GSD looks like 😂
Really happy you are leaving the surgeries in now, so fascinating to watch. Glad that Boston recovered and so sad for Terri, I hope her mum finds another snake to love soon

I am so sorry for the loss of your beautiful Terry/Teri (sorry). I was so hopeful that they would be able to help her. You did your best by bringing her to professionals that could ease her pain. If you hadn’t, it seems it wouldn’t be long before she suffered immensely from her condition. You are a good caretaker. I wish you the best.
I kinda miss Chris, I haven’t seen him in a bit.
This is a different one
He has stopped appearing on Bondi vet for a long time! He no longer does
@@Miranda-vj8yy why is that? Did he quit?
He still makes regular appearances!
@@AubreydaSoul he didn't quit. He still makes regular appearances,. He has other. Television commitments!
This was amazing! Terry, the snake is beautiful and what came out of her was amazing. You all are the bomb! The tick issue is quite scary. I’m in the USA and we don’t have that kind of a tick. At least to my knowledge. Great job done by all. 💞 🐍
I think the algorithm somehow knew I was changing the bandages on my dog's ear when it suggested me this video....
(it's just a cut, a very bloody one, but still just a cut)
So happy to see Boston going home! Love him!!!!
