- Welcome to Part 1 of our recent Cornwall 2020 holiday to Trewethett Farm Caravan and Motorhome Club site in Cornwall, England.
In this video, we show
- How to arrive at site (following the new Covid-19 guidelines)
- A walk-around the site with out dogs, Dotty and Milo, we show the Covid Precautions in place
- A day-trip to Widemouth bay via Bude
- A wet tour of Boscastle on the way back from Widemouth Bay
- Evening Scenery and a very nice sunset.
** COVID-19 Stuff **
The 'Trewethett Tango' is back on. You may now swap pitches once during your visit. Ensure you have arranged this with the wardens beforehand (we got this way, way wrong...)
Ablutions block, access controlled by wristbands, limited numbers, one way system
Check in is done via phone. The warden will marshal your rig to the front of the queue, at which point you are asked to do a telephone check in
One at a time in reception - use the hand gel
Remember, the wardens are extremely busy, they have a bunch of new procedures to deal with. There was no gentle ramp-up to the season this year, one day no campers, the next day 100% occupancy - please be understanding!
You will be entered into the Track and Trace system.

It really is a lovely campsite, we only booked it for the views to be fair as it’s a little more than we usually like to pay in pitch fees. Checking in needs a bit of a “tweak” in our opinion.

Missed out on a visit due to Covid but losing a holiday to keep people safe is more important. We have friends who live in Boscastle so didn’t get to meet up. Enjoyed vlog thanks.
Spot on Colin. We’d made our reservation about a year before visiting. Came close... There are now plenty of Covid mitigations in place now, and the wardens are doing a great job of running the place and looking after us campers. Hope you get to Boscastle and your friends soon. What an absolutely fantastic place guys, thanks for showing us around! Stunning! We’ve learned that lesson with checking which beaches are dog friendly as have been caught out too many times! Great vlog, thanks for sharing!

I’ve a work buddy in NC. He says that the TV series ‘Poldark’ was something his household really enjoyed. Trewethett is in the same County as Poldark-land. It’s exciting if you have plans to come visit the Uk 🇬🇧. Pete & Kaz.
