Thank you!! I’ve only lost 5 pounds in 6 weeks! Appetite is gone but not the pounds.
I can't say medically because you are not my patient. You should speak with your provider about your dosage. 6 pounds in 6 weeks may not be bad based on the plan they have you on. Often the 2nd month is where weightloss really starts. If you dont have a provider then please reach out to us: dropweightmd.com
What dose are you on?
Same here 😐
Exactly the same for me. 5 lbs in 6 weeks. Small appetite. Ugh.
Same!
I was on Ozempic 2mg for a year and a half. I did not lose any weight on it. I actually gained weight. It lowered my A1C but I didn't lose weight.
Did you ever find out why? Did a different product work?
I’m keeping my hopes up. I been off all sugars and fasting from 8pm-12pm implemented a little workout during this journey and my weight is not budging. I started September of 2023 @ 315 on 10cc and now January 2024 @ 312 on 80cc. The money I’m dishing for this semiglutide I could put towards surgery, I don’t know. I just hate my body is stubborn!
I’m six weeks in and don’t think I’ve lost anything. I think a lot of it has to do with how much is needed to lose and lifestyle to begin with. I need to lose 35 pounds now, and I already cut out sugar years ago, only drink water, am vegetarian, don’t have a lot of snacks. There’s only so many adjustments that I can make. If you weigh 450 and just cut out soda, you’ll drop weight immediately. I’m trying to be patient and trust the meds.
I think the same goes for me. I've already cut sugar and carbs out for 7 years and am at the point of getting the scale to even budge. So I started this medicine thinking it was going to be my jump start and still nothing. I need to learn patience, but it's hard.
Updates?
I’ve been on it for 2 months and titration faster than scheduled to 1.0. Zero side effects.. zero impact. Trying to be patient
Same here
Same but a oral compound because no one has the shot available anywhere
I am currently on this 3 weeks in haven’t lost any weight, still have all the same cravings, and even more hungrier than I was to begin with. Currently on 0.25
Same. I'm increasing to .5
Same, 3 weeks no side effects, and I'm a lot hungrier 😢 I decided to increase to 0.50 this week
Any improvements for you now?
@GinaSchaidt after 3 months and dose increased to 1mg I stop taking it, I had absolutely no side effects not negative or positive just no effects and no weight loss, I was using Ozempic if that helps.
@@Familiaescorcia-ql1kg Very intersting :(
With the cost of the medication I want it to work straight away. The starting dosage should be inline with the clients weight and size
Semaglutide dosage is not dependent on weight and size but rather on tolerance and response.
Been using wegovy for 13 weeks, I'm on my 2nd dose of 1.7 mg and have only lost 9lb, most of this was the 1st month. I weighed 295 when I started and am now 286. I feel like I've been duped out of my hard earned money. I really hoped this drug would help me, I'm so disappointed. I had better results with keto.
I had better luck with phentermine and I had no side effects either.
What about the "compound" version of semiglutide???
Please do a video about them
I’m doing compound and it still not working
I’m still hungry and crave sweets I’m so upset about this I’m like 3 months in and only loss 11 pounds and just feel like it’s not working
I’m the same 😢 it worked so well for me and not my appetite isn’t suppressed at all, no matter what my dosage is
Same
I've been on it fpr 10 weeks I'm at 1.25mg and I've lost about 3lbs its way to expensive to be seeing zero results. I am so disappointed and I don't understand why.
It’s not fair - everyone else seems to be losing weight super fast on it. It has zero affect on me - ZERO
Me too i give up and besides its so expensive i just wasted my money. I m still hungry still have cravings. Im done
This was actually really Helpful! As i have not lost anything in my first month, even while having some wierd side effects, like headaches, hair loss, badmoods and wierd dreams, so I was like..Wow what am i doing this for? But it helps me to know that It may just take a little longer for my body to respond to this..
Thank you -- this is the best advice and makes total sense
I've been on it for 10 weeks with zero weight loss and minimal side effects my dose has been uped every 3rd week because I've tolerated it well. I am currently taking 1.25mg/50 units and still nothing. I eat healthy, drink plenty of water and I exercise 5 days a week. I simply don't understand what is going on.
I was on trizpetide/Mounjaro for 6 months & it did nothing for me 😢 no appetite suppression, no weight loss
Same. I'm coming up on 9 weeks at 30 units (past week) and I haven't seen any changes really. I notice I'm passing slower, but otherwise, not much more than that.
same here. im on 1mg and losing nothing and workout 4-5 times a week lost 15 first 2 months on .25 mg
I right there with ya!!!! Have you had any changes since, and if so, what did you do differently? 😊
What types of foods are you all eating? My wife stalled on her semaglutide journey because she kept eating bad stuff like candy and other sugary carbs. Yes, her appetite was lower and she couldn't eat as much, but she didn't change the fundamental bad behaviors that led to her weight gain in the first place. I just started semaglutide yesterday, so we will see how it goes!
Nearly fell out of bed when you said “what little kid wants to eat a wax bean?! …. Shit!” 😂
Thank you. I have yet to lose any weight. Gonna stick with it tho!
Does this advice apply to Saxenda?
6 months, and not even a dress size down. F this. I’m barely eating anything, I’ve spent enough to pay for a vacation, and I look the same. I’m done. And angry.
Same for me ….costing 100.00 a pound at this point. I can’t afford to “wait it out” for a “maybe” it’ll start to work
It works for a few weeks then you just waste time and money. Made me nauseated and constipated for days. I quit using it. Went back to gym.amd sticking to Paleo and Supplements. I feel 10x better!
I'm beginning to think I should stop as well. I've been on it for 10wks I'm now at 1.25mg and I've lost about 3lbs I haven't had any of the normal side effects but all and all just feel unwell I can't say what exactly feels ill I just don't feel good. At 3lbs its been a wasted of time and money for me.
I’ve been on it for a month and a half. I’ve lost 10 pounds, but I feel like I can do better without it because I hate feeling sick all the time. When I started taking 15 units that’s when the side effects hit me stronger. I’ll either go back to 10units or just stop completely.
7 weeks on semi glutide and gained 2 pounds...placing my hope in month 3.
Am I a misfit ?! I’ve been on Ozempic for 4 months and have had a total of 18 pounds loss ! One side effect lasted a week and now moving up to .2 dosage !
Just wanted to say you didn’t gain that weight overnite and yea be patient ! 5pounds a month of lost weight makes me happy ! 😃
I lost a few pounds in my first 3 months, 4 th month I lost 8 lbs and I'm now starting my 5th month at 2 mg/wk..I have mixed feelings. One year ago I lost 30 lbs in 3 months by diet and cutting Sugar, Dairy and Cooking Oils by 70-80%..So far I've lost 40 lbs total..I still want to lose 20-30 lbs more..
Thank you I only loss like 8 pounds in a little over a mony
First month .25 no changes at all. Will start .5 tomorrow 😢
Month 2 and I gained 6 pounds. No I have not eaten junk. I’m post menopause and found a 40 extra pounds in 3 years. But I’m taking a oral compound semiglutide
7 months in and only lost 18 lbs. Idk i feel like im definitely eating less, but the scale isn't moving.
I’m 5 months now and not a single pound lost. 😢
I’ve been on this for 3.5 months and I barely eat but still not 1 single pound lost. Makes no sense
Wow, that would be really frustrating :(
Doesn’t work at all for me!
my doctor just took me off semaglutide because of elevated pancreatic enzymes, I'm pissed, i lost 40 pounds on it
At the same time. Be glad you lost 40 lbs.
TLDR: Response to semaglutide for weight loss can vary, and it may not be effective for everyone initially, but patience and potentially adjusting the dosage can lead to positive results.
00:00 🤔 Semaglutide not working for weight loss? Discover why it might not be effective for you.
00:51 👩⚕ Response to semaglutide can vary, with some not experiencing any impact in the first month despite most people having positive effects.
01:12 💡 Start with a low dose of semaglutide because everyone has different sensitivities, regardless of weight, and some may need higher doses for a good response.
01:57 👩⚕ Be patient and wait for at least three months before concluding that semaglutide isn't working, as you may just need a higher dose. If needed, seek medical guidance.
I've been prescribed metformin, Qsymia , phentermine, and now semaglutide. None of them worked. My brain can't be tricked. lol
lol, That's kind of funny actually.
Because the drug stops working after some time, even at high dosage plus you need to exercise cardio and weight training and have a solid meal plan for when you come off the drug. People are too lazy to do this they really want a magic pill so they can just be lazy and do nothing and the weight comes off
Ugh this is such a lazy video! Basically, up the dose - this works for basically everyone.
