    As a brazilian, who has made the passionfruit mousse my whole life, here are two extra tips:
    1. Beat this in the highest speed of your blender instead of your standing mixer. It creates even more air bubbles!
    2. The second best fruit juice that goes well with this recipe is lemon/lime juice! You can decorate with lemon zest.

    I make no-churn ice cream using sweetened condensed milk and whipped cream. The similarity to your passionfruit recipe might be why your family prefers the frozen version. You essentially made passionfruit ice cream!

    I will definitely make the roast. I gave up making roast years ago as I got tired of the dump your roast- add cans of soup-and voila. Your version looks much tastier and healthier. Yum 😋.

    Your pot roast method is really close to my mother’s, and the pot roast she makes is my number one favorite dish in the world. I really ought to try and make one.

    Passion fruit mousse is a traditional desert here in Brazil, but we usually use the other kind of passion fruit (the yellow one) because it has a strong taste. A little bit of gelatin helps getting to the best texture. I like to top it with chocolate sprinkles!

    I am from Paraguay and love passion fruit mousse. I grow passion fruit in my desert garden in Las Vegas. But when we don't get a great abundant harvest, I get the frozen passion fruit pulp/juice (goya brand) from the latin market. I first whip the cream until it has whipped cream consistency, and then add the condensed milk, and the passion fruit juice. It sets nicely when you refrigerate it overnight 👌 So delicate and delicious!!

    Ohmygoodness-passion fruit mousse sounds to die for! I grew up in California, and one of the things I miss about living there is that practically everything grows there (like passion fruit)! What a treat to get fresh passion fruit from your sister!

    I have made the tomato pasta dish for years, but never had the brie in it. We sometimes sprinkled parmesan cheese on it. Everything looks scrumptious. Thank you for sharing practical, simple, family pleasing meals with us.

    Hi Jennifer, is so nice to see such a traditional recipe from Brazil on your channel.
    I am a Brazilian who has lived in Europe for many years and when I want to make "mousse de Maracujá" I always use frozen pulps. The texture is amazing and 4 hours in the refrigerator is enough.

    Roasts are my favorite to make😋 I usually put one over Saturday night with 1 tbsp brown sugar, 1 tbsp seasoned salt , some dales seasoning and cover it in onion flakes and add water half way up and leave it on low till Sunday lunch and it’s delicious😋

    I am SO trying that roast! Looks great and, like you said, easy. It was neat to see the passion fruit recipe. We have it growing wild and our 8yo son went out and picked 6, then googled until he found a recipe he could use them in. He came up with passion fruit curd and we ate it on scones. SO delish! I'll have to show him your idea for the mousse.

      How did the roast work out for you? We tried it last night and my parents and husband were less than impressed. I might try seasoning the veggies first and cooking low and slow next time (I chose the high for 4 hours and the meat was chewy.)

    I have been using that packaged soup for my pot roast for maybe 40 years. When my children were young and I worked, I would sprinkle some on a thin roast and a. bit of wine and cook it in the oven all day on a very low heat and it was ready when I got home 9 hours later. (I guess I didn't have a slow cooker then) Yours looks delicious with the added mushrooms and celery- I'll definitely be adding that next time I cook. I also want to try some version of the passion fruit dessert!

    I have been making this roast for years now. It is a family favorite. I do soften the onions in my pot and cook it on the stove top though. Cook on low for only 3 to four hours. It is always fork tender and perfect. I am not a busy Mom like you so I am able to cook using the stovetop method.

    Hi Jennifer! The roast is in the crock pot. I know it will be delicious. I’m going to make the mousse as well, but after trying to find the illusive passion fruit juice at three local grocery stores I decided to settle for pineapple juice. Thank you for the inspiration.

    Make passion fruit juice!!! Soooo good and very calming. Also, make passion fruit ice cream 😍 don't forget to add the crunchy seeds on top! (Another Brazilian passion fruit nut here)

    I make something almost identical. I substitute red wine for the water. Adds a beautiful depth of flavor.

    Jennifer you may also want to try some lemon basil in your little garden. There is something about freezing sweetened condensed milk. I make the traditional key lime pie with sweetened condensed milk and graham cracker and butter crust. I pop the pie or slices into the freezer for 30 minutes before serving, which will be the only way you'll ever want to eat it again. Thanks for 3 nice things to try!

    I make almost the very same pot roast except I cook it in the oven for 3 hours. Next time I'm going to make it in the slow cooker like you did. I've never had passion fruit - I've never even seen it in grocery stores in SC but it looks delicious.

    We lived in Hawaii for years.... passion fruit (or lilikoi, as we call it) is AMAZING as a smoothie bowl topping.

    I just made the Brie pasta! My portion was smaller as I made it for two people and used brown rice noodles (GF) but for some reason I didn’t use less garlic 🧄 haha! Oh, boy! It was garlicky (my fault) but SO good!! 😋 Very delicious!

    Hi! Wow!! The passionfruit is my ultimate favorite! Is your sister growing it in the US, in a very hot climate? It's so expensive to buy them in the states. You can also make passionfruit juice. You make it by extracting the juice from the seeds, by blending them or using a strainer, add water and sugar. It's the perfect juice!
