Pye, appreciated seeing your techniques for this kind of a shoot. As a solo photographer it will always be my situation and it was great to see your organized (numbered steps) presentation. Thank you. I'm also imagining how a fill light would complicate the shoot so a bounce flash that didn't need to be repositioned as much would be useful. This also "reflects" how important step #1 is. 😁

Great video as always! I would love to learn more about delivering the photos to clients and how to export the photos. Do you deliver three different files to the client - photo files for social, photo files for prints, and large files for big prints? When taking photos I think about the way I am shooting whether I am to close the subject or too far how will the photos look when I crop them. Please help and would love to learn more about on your experience.

Here in Utah, it's common to have a first look and portrait session of the bride and groom before the wedding day, so I'm often shooting first looks by myself. I'm always struggling with trying to get both expressions at once, so this was very helpful. Thank you.

I’m not at the level where I can afford 2nd shooters so it’s always just me, this helped a lot!! Thanks.

This is exactly how I do the first look. I’m almost always on my own but doing like you described still works like a charm.
