- Since 2012 we have had the opportunity to film some amazing groom first look reactions. We thought it would be fun to compile some of the best most tear jerking groom reactions we have filmed over the past few years. Most of these grooms cry. They all have super special first look reactions from their wedding day.
This is a little bit different from our wedding videos. There isn't much of a story here. Only raw and emotional first look moments. A first look is when a couple decides to see each other before their wedding ceremony. It's an intimate way for the couple to see each other (and be themselves) before the wedding.

Fellas, when you look at a woman and can’t imagine your life without her, you know you’re ready to marry her. When you see her on that wedding day and it dawns on you that you love her more than you love yourself, that’s reassurance that you made the right decision.

I thought it was so adorable when they would see each other and the brides would just gush over how cute their grooms looked and try to adjust their ties and that stuff. And then I loved it when the grooms would just give the brides the biggest bear hugs (without ruining their hair and stuff lol). It was so wholesome and precious 🥺💜

UGH!! A man who cries on his wedding day... every woman will melt with a reaction like that. I'm over here crying, and I don't even know these people! Definitely my favorite thing to capture as a wedding photographer for sure though. These are wonderful.
I hope these sweet couples are always just as much in love as they are at this moment. Maybe even more.

This Video really brings me to Tears. I remember the Day my Beautiful Bride walked down the Isle. It was probably the most exquisite thing I have ever seen in my Life. She was absolutely stunning and both of us were Crying like Babies. She left this World at the Young Age of 44 and it makes me wonder if these Grooms really appreciate what they have. They should Love, Cherish and Protect these Women with their entire Souls. It's a Blessing that many People do not get to experience - and it can be taken from you in the Blink of an Eye. Love them Boys - Love them with everything that you have.

The last one had me BALLING tears out of my face. Ughhh can't wait to see that kind of love like Gil & Kaylee. His unconditional love for her is unbelievable and absolutely breathtakingly beautiful. When he put his head to hers, spun her around, with admiration and all with tears flowing down his face. Yep you can only call that True Love!!
I’m mostly crying because I got married at 18, divorced by 20, eloped, kept it a secret from family for a while and ended it terribly. And it just makes me sad because even though I know it was rushed and sudden, I still wanted it to last and work. And I deserved someone who would actually cry.
as someone who has so much anxiety, I know a first look will help my wedding ceremony go so much smoother. Didn’t believe in first looks at first, but I know I’m definitely doing it for mine!

It shouldn't be about what you wear, perfect nails, the length of the hair, the distance which you live, your employment. It's about your connection, unconditional love and respect to your partner.

We were initially gonna do a first look but my mother in law was kinda superstitious and we didn’t have one. It was priceless though seeing each other then when I walked down the isle. I think it would’ve been special if we would’ve done one and not listened to another’s opinion but what is done is done. We will be celebrating our 8th wedding anniversary this November and welcomed our first baby together back in January. We are happy and thriving and have no regrets. I am so happy for all these couples and wishing them nothing but the best for their futures.

The first look is for the couple, private and personal. Sometimes it makes the couple less nervous by giving each other support and encouragement before such a momentous event.
