It's great as usual! I just have one suggestion. Since you are talking about the histogram, would u show it to us? That would add a lot of value to the video -- I think.

Loved the shot with the palm frond in the foreground . . . awesome what you can do with simple props when you know what you are doing.

My granddaughter liked beads and craft stuff. She had a tray with compartments and coloured items were clearly visible. It was on a table with her leaning forward over it. One of my best efforts, I think.

hi Pye you went from a expensive lens to a lesser expensive lens i would dare say that most people watching this do so as a hobby, i also would spend a lot of money on a lens but i earn money with my photography most do not try working with a 50m 1.8 as i think most will have that lens. including you thank you for the video

I love your use of the palm frond. (I like saying frond...)
Since your arm isn't a couple of feet longer, can you just bring a 12/24 inch stick/pole with a heavy duty clamp on it to extend your props?

Looks like a great day at, perhaps, Crystal Cove?
A little note for the commenters asking where they can get palm fronds like Pye's: palms grow like weeds in southern California. They even sprout up in pavement cracks. So, once the plague has subsided, book a flight to SNA or LAX. 😉

I like the video. Thanks for it. Love that you always put all the settings. But i was thinking, doesnt taking her out from the beach, might as well take the photo somewhere else? Also, is it possible to use low budget gear when doind the videos since this is what begginers have and this are videos for begginers right? Thanks though.

I wonder why you didn't use sun hood in such a bright sun. Is it an intention or a mistake? Or do those lenses generate no glare? And with such a reversely mounted sun hood, you can't comfortably use the zoom ring at 28-70. Anyway tutorial, tips and photos are great :-)

The light and airy look is what a lot of clients like... I noticed from many wedding photographers here on TH-cam and Instagram they have that look to their wedding photos. But ya I too like the before but it's all about the client you hire in the end.

Nice video guys but I'll say this why don't you all put away the 3/4k camera & lens & use cheaper gear instead of saying hey any camera cud work (Yea I see you Pye) use the canon RP (Which I own lol) & tht lens or adopt EF lens like canon 35 RF. Or T7/8i or 90d or a sony or Nikon etc etc. So most ppl can relate & feel even better about the gears they have.
