Thank you soo much for this video! It's the most helpful video I've watched on this topic and is really great getting to hear your perspective. It's also so generous of you to share your timeline tool for free for us🤩 I'm so excited to put it to use!! tyty!
Thanks for this video. I enjoyed it even though I doubt I’ll ever shoot a wedding. Your balance of the artistic and business sides of photography translates into good life advice.
I love how much time you allow on the front end of the first look, and how you have so much wiggle room in your timeline. I have been looking at many examples of how to plan my ideal timeline and I like your system the best! Do you typically recommend "fake" exits for your couples since your coverage would end sooner than the reception ends?
This is an entire Skillshare course in one video. How do you continue to outdo yourself, woman? I loved this entire thing - VERY content-dense, HUGE knowledge drop. Seriously amazing, Chels.
Yes, I include both. 🙂 I usually like to start in girl's room for details, head to grooms room for some groom shots and guys hanging out, then end getting ready photos (ie: getting her in the dress) in the bride's room. But sometimes I'll have a dedicated second shooter with the groom depending on logistics, such as if they are in getting ready at different properties.
You are so generous with your knowledge. I am so lucky to be able to use everything you teach to streamline and improve my business!
Thanks so much Liz! 💞
Unbelievable amount of value here. Wow.

Thank you! this is really good info, especially about the difference between the photography timeline and the wedding planner's timeline!

Do you ever have to count the grooms pre wedding photos as well as bride and bridesmaids?
