It may be much less interesting when it comes to battle, less of a power fantasy and more real, but it had enough fighting for me to be happy. Even if it wasn't Thorfinn wasn't the one fighting most of the time. The writing is absolutely peak fiction. It's a viking version of Jesus but we'll nuanced since he has such a violent past.
