The SH 101 is one of the nicest sounding synths ever made in my opinion. It can be great for ambient, acid, industrial, techno, etc. It's so rich and punchy, yet calm.

Just any minijack cable works. They recommend mono, but I use stereo and it works anyway.

what for a cable is needed for sync mono or stereo?
I think in the manual they reccomand mono. I often used stereo because I have more of those around and they actually work.

The only thing I dislike about this synth is it only has 64 presets.
Well I suppose it depends on your needs. For me is more than enough, but that quite subjective I guess.
