    With this video you will be able to learn the kick up / kip up with these 3 simple steps - in 5 minutes! The kick up is all about technique, momentum and timing, so do each step right and it will be not a problem at all. The kick up / kip up does not just look cool, it is also easier than many think. It is definitely one of the easiest moves you can learn from at home, just make sure to have a soft ground on the bottom in the beginning. After you mastered the kick-up you can expand it and do it without hands or even make some exercises with them. Try and tell me your experience!

    I have a question Victor, do you like actually need a great bridge to do this move? I ask because I know some might say so, I have been practicing a bit and I am so close but I was wondering if I was doing anything wrong since I don’t do as much training or practice the bridge. Thank you for the help, also great content!
    Update: I learned it a year later, and can do advanced kip ups! :)

      u don’t really need a great bridge. If your close try to land with ur feet wider apart in a V shape and land Low and kick very hard

      No a bridge is not necessary (mine is also reeeeealy bad to be honest 😂). I certainly helps but if u push strongly with arms and legs u will be fine 👍🏼

    Thanks for the presentation. ** One thing I noticed in your video, your feet turn completely sideways on your
    SUCCESSFUL kip up. But, your practice, kips your feet go straight forward. ## I am going to begin on my
    Bed; slamming my feet and Back on the ground will be less painful on my Bed.
    Question : Can you perform a kip up on a Bed ?

      Yes but it’s easier because you have more of a bounce so I recommend practicing on blankets so when you can do it consistently it’s way easier on bouncy surfaces

    I used to do these back and forth in the 90s. We called them pancakes. Can’t find it anywhere on TH-cam. Wish I had my teenage body. I’d make a video on it.

    hey guys, i am trying to learn new skills. I want to start from this one and then progressivly learn more diffucult skills. Does this skill require a large amount of strenght or is it just tecnique. beacuse at the moment i am very week to the point where i am only able to do 3 push ups in a row. I am working on that as well by going to the gym and training every day. But for now thats my situation.

    Hi I think I have a massive problem with this...when I roll down back, I can't touch the ground with my hand palms, only with fingers so I can't properly push...I mean I can't bend the arms back enough to have the full push on the ground. Can I also, with time, adapt and be able to fully place hands on the ground?
    I can, by forcing myself, place them right for a bit but then my wrists hurt so bad

      Hey, I know very well what you mean. I saw it often that the flexibility is missing. Give it some tries, stretch your upper body and you will for sure get used to it!

      I am doing a breakdance inspired aerial dance routine and I was watching these videos and they are very similar to other moves I've been learning. Every time I try a new floor work trick it is always on the soft padded gym flooring with knee pads and tennis shoes. It's like the (it's okay to throw your body at something) uniform and then when I am more comfortable with the body movement I try it on the stage flooring with just knee pads and bare feet. Then I graduate to without and then I master a trick. As a tall female I've always struggled with the classic balancing techniques we learn like head assisted forearm stands/etc. And the kinds of beginner freezes and kip ups are more in my repertoire of what my body likes to do. So I appreciate there being things that makes sense for my body and not be so focused on getting the acro tricks that will take me much longer to get for a performance.
