    What a fun way to play with your kids. I used to work for the company that makes Mod Podge and if you take sand paper that is very fine and sand the lines out, then put on another coat of Mod podge. However it is water soluble so to get a permanent seal you will need to use a clear sealer on it. You decide matte or glossy. 💗

    Just FYI Mary, Mod Podge now comes in a dishwasher safe formula so you never have to worry about anything coming off ever. Just make sure to read the directions carefully. It's the blue bottle. These turned out so cute!

      I recently used the dishwasher mod podge and it still left streaks. I’m wondering if there is a way to put resin over them?

    • @marypolancodesigns

      They are for either from what I can tell. They have a smell to them after a few days but I'm hoping that dissipates!

    what fun!, thanks for this, I had seen this ages ago, but had forgotten all about it!, I'm wondering could you dip the mod podge?, and I think they make a dishwasher safe version, as well as a glittery one

    • @marypolancodesigns
      @marypolancodesigns  4 ปีที่แล้ว

      Yes I do believe they have dishwasher safe now. Im not sure if you could dip the mod podge though, I didn't try it.

  • @pattysibitzky6036
    @pattysibitzky6036 4 ปีที่แล้ว

    Did you use dishwasher safe mod podge? Also if you dry them in the oven at 175 for 30 minutes and let them completely cool in the oven this will get rid of the paintbrush marks.

    • @marypolancodesigns
      @marypolancodesigns  4 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      I didn't know there was a difference so i will definitely check into that. Thank you so much for the heating tip! YAY

    Hay hon if you want more tips on water marbeling look up Ohmygoshpolish she is a self proclaimed water marble witch lol. She isn’t doing it anymore on her channel but it is still active . She is amazing and funny as all get out . She is from Tasmania and has an awesome accent and sense of humour and of course she does nail art as well . Super fun for a girls night with your beautiful girl 🥰😝🤪🥳 Oh and quick tip keep the polish and the water you intend to use for your marbeling in the same room for at least a day so that they are the same temperature when you go to use them , they will work better together , have fun ladies and be careful it’s addictive lol...... Breaking news Ohmygoshpolish is back and has changed her
    name to Talk to the hand polish and started Tammy has started her own polish brand 🤪🎉I have missed her so much yahoo!
