@@marypolancodesigns glad I got to see this video this morning! I am iced in, I can see the turnpike I drive to work thru the trees flashing lights, vehicles moving slow with hazard lights, nope not getting in that mess today!
Mary! I have a zillion bottles of enamel that I can't use because they don't work like they did when they were new. I LOVE LOVE LOVE the idea of using them with embossing paste. Brilliant!
I wonder if you could open them up and add something to get them moving again. I sold a lot of mine because they were just sitting there. I probably should have tried some of these ideas first. haha
Love this! My drops almost got annexed to the island of misfit toys just last night while cleaning craft room lol. Thank you for much needed inspiration!
Okay. When you added the paste to the color...that's what i was thinking about. Add starch, flour something to stabilize and thicken it so you could make the faux wax seal.
@@marypolancodesigns I've just seen ones adding cornstarch and such to make their own malleable pastes. So i thot that could work. I'll look for a link
just a thought, if you use a clear glue gun drop, add the enamel on top then stamp it might work. i don't own enamel dot items so i cannot try it myself.
Thanks for ideas, bit sorry you didn’t try & perhaps compare any others you have because it felt a little like an adv for the supplier. Sure it wasn’t , just a heads up 😄
Thanks so much for the feedback. I would say if people have these colors in other brands, you don't need these by any means. They are similar enough to probably get the same results. I did really appreciate the consistency of them though. :)
I absolutely love the dots. And I found a better way to use them, without getting flat. But I found that if you make your dots on wax paper or art (palet) paper and let them dry. Then just pop with them off and they don't flatten out!
Thanks so much for sharing!! I have a lot of drops and do not use them that much!! I am going to try to use them more since you gave me some more ideas on how to use them!!! Hope you and family are doing well!! Hugs :)
Great ideas! Another fun thing to try would be to stamp an image, then outline it with black “pops”, then fill in each section with color for a stained glass effect! Gonna play around and see what happens! Ty for the inspiration! ❤️🦋💜
Your ingers all finky, huh?? Getting your mix all talked up there, girl. Here's another idea: you can use your drops AS embossing paste thru a stencil. Looks cool with glitter or pearlescent drops.
Thank you for clarifying. I have many stencils and that seems so easy to use since I don't have any embossing plates. A whole new world has opened up. Wow! Thanks.
You always think outside the box and come up with some of the neatest uses for products! Love the one you "smooshed"! 💖👍👏👏
Thanks so much Pam! I really enjoyed trying to think of new ways because I have so many of these drops. lol

I loved the stencil/embossing idea!!! BTW, your nails look beautiful! Have you tried the SB.com mat yet?? I think it's silicone one
Not yet, but it's on the way. I like the price point; I think it's only like $10

Thanks for the video. It gave me some cool ideas of what to use my Stickles for.
Glad I could help! YAY! Have fun. I love stickles
I wonder if you could mix the enamel drops in to melted wax to make a seal, or would it separate. I’m off to experiment 🙂
Oooh, you must let me know how that goes!
Great tutorial Mary. Gosh these colors are gorgeous. Gonna have to get me some lol.
Thanks so much. They are stuuuuuning! I never get excited about drops, because I never use them! ha but these are gorgeous

Loved the ideas. What is embossing paste is it like Gesso? This is the first time I heard about enamel ink. They loo soo cool and versatile. 😎👍💓
Embossing past dries a little more puffy than Gesso. It's the paste version of using an embossing folder.
Thank you for clarifying. I have many stencils and that seems so easy to use since I don't have any embossing plates. A whole new world has opened up. Wow! Thanks.

Wonderful tips. I hardly ever use my drops because I'm afraid I'll mess the card up at the end. Lol😊
Hahaha...so true! Same for me. I think I might pre make a bunch to avoid that
