Lightweight 27' Power Catamaran With 10 hp Engine

A couple of the early test runs in the ELB (extremely light boat) Catamaran, a 27' by 8' 6" catamaran built with vacuum bagged carbon fiber over a structural foam core. For these runs, it has a single Tohatsu 9.8 hp engine, but another engine has been ordered so we will see how it does with twins. With the single engine it achieves around 13 knots with 4 aboard and can cruise at ten.
