    Great to see this real world behind the scenes! This is exactly the kind of content I have been looking for. Everyone else sits in their studio and demos gear, but this is one of the few real applications as to how things are really planned for and potentially the kind of nasty surprises you find when going out. I have often wondered about covering local sports and what it would take to do so. This is very encouraging.

    Dj MEC MEDIA, Monte when you do live events with the PTZ Cameras where do you get Ethernet for your Joy Stick and Camera?

    • @MonteWeaverofficial
      @MonteWeaverofficial  2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Most cases I don’t. I’ll use the serial port and physically daisy chain cameras.

  • @michaelwade3727
    @michaelwade3727 2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

    How do you control them? Joy Stick, and Cameras from a distance?

    • @MonteWeaverofficial
      @MonteWeaverofficial  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      Not sure what you’re asking because the video is showing the setup and controlling.

    So cool that you were able to generate income for the business.

      Almost $600 in ticket sales and people are still buying the replay!

    great video. I learned a lot. Question: can you run streamyard through viewstub? If so is that something you would do? Or is wirecast the superior product to a streamyard in its ability to do all the things streamyard does plus a whole lot more?

    • @MonteWeaverofficial
      @MonteWeaverofficial  2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      1. Yes 2. You can use any live stream software, I just prefer Wirecast because I’ve used it for years.

      Thank you your channel is awesome I use to do A/V and now I do telecom. Your channel shows me the possibilities for marrying the two with the love of technology and make a business. I hope to link in consultation session with you for first steps.

    Informative video. Just want to know your internet source. Thanks

    • @MonteWeaverofficial
      @MonteWeaverofficial  2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      The boxing gym had internet and we connected directly to it using a CAT5 cable about 50ft from our setup.

      What would do if there is no Ethernet and you have to rely on the cellular data from the YoloBox?

    • @MonteWeaverofficial
      @MonteWeaverofficial  2 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      Have a backup cellular. I use multiple cellular providers.

    New sub - very interested about the platform you chose. Outside of generating ticketing income, do you feel it is better than TH-cam, FB, Vimeo? Thank you for the great content.

    • @MonteWeaverofficial
      @MonteWeaverofficial  2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      I use platforms based on the needs and requirements. For events, this platform is my preferred over YT, FB, Vimeo, etc because it built for events. This includes event sponsors, ability to download slides, polls, website re-directs, break-out rooms, etc.

  • @Calvarydima
    @Calvarydima ปีที่แล้ว +1

    How much did you charge for such event and what did you offer if you can list please

    • @MonteWeaverofficial
      @MonteWeaverofficial  ปีที่แล้ว

      For events it depends on so many factors, location, travel costs, equipment needs, additional personnel needed, length of event. So I don’t offer services like this anymore, I only do them for people that know I’m capable of doing it but now that I create content on Amazon, it’s just more profitable to create Amazon content than having to market, advertise and grow a video live streaming business.

    Very nice quality. How did you run your audio? Sounded crisp in the clip. Is that the PTZ Optics audio or a external mic?

    • @MonteWeaverofficial
      @MonteWeaverofficial  3 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      The gym owner didn't have a plan for audio. We just used the Rode NTG shotgun microphone and positioned in on the tripod under the PTZ camera to camera the audio from the entire room. They did not have a "MC" or host announcer, otherwise we would have mic'ed them up. The link to the microphone and all the other gear is in the description of the video.

    • @kcmi89
      @kcmi89 3 ปีที่แล้ว +3

      @@MonteWeaverofficial I didn't realize the rode mic was there in the video before I commented lol. I think that external mic was a good choice. Great work again. I'm inspired.
