This video was made for me. Thanks sir. More grace to you. However the current realities regarding materials has gone way past what was estimated here e.g., blocks are now #250 per unit. Hoping for an update, while I swing into action right away!

You're right. I just spoke with a supplier in Port Harcourt and he told me I can get 6 inch blocks for 220 naira. I'll call a few more people later, to see if this is the best deal available.
But you know, the new price of blocks won't change the total value significantly - because the price of blocks is relatively low, compared to the overall cost of building.
And also, currently, prices are very unstable. If I try to update these videos everytime there's a price fluctuation, I may just end up balancing out the drop in price of one item with the rise in price of another.
For instance, I just learned that the value I used for cement is actually 100 naira more than it is in the market right now. I could change it, but it will most likely get slightly higher or lower in a few days.
So I may not update this very soon. At least, not until a few months from now, when I'll cost everything, from start to finish.
Over the next few months, I think this can serve as a decent ballpark estimate for this building. And I'm quite sure that the difference between my price for cement and its current market value, will make up for the change in the price of blocks.

A block of 9 inch now is above 300# . How many blocks do we use. How much is a double load of sand and now that a bag of cement is 7,000# plus. Tell us the number of bags all for foundation only. Be realistic and give us the details and workmanship cost of bricklayer etc

The prices are Port Harcourt prices, but they're very close to Lagos prices.
Some things may be a little cheaper or slightly more expensive in Eko
