    Could you please review Twilight Imperium or Eclipse? Or any similar "epic" 4x games tbh. There are many mechanics and design decisions that are there solely to balance the game, like influence for territory and actions, as well as upkeep in eclipse.
    Or for that matter, Dead of Winter and similar thematic games that have mechanics so well designed that you experience ludonarrative dissonance.
