I'll never forget how I got into Minecraft. I was at my local library when i found one of the old Minecraft books, it was the red one with the sword. That book singlehandedly introduced me to Minecraft, a month later was my birthday, and getting a copy of the Xbox 360 edition that day is still one of my happiest memories, and I still have the copy.
Damn those MC books! Always heard of them but never actually seen/read one 🔥💯
In 2012-13-15 I had a big tv and it was 1080p good picture so playing gta 4 and 5 and minecraft was peak

God I've just started the video and I already have nostalgia to 2012. I remember playing the very first version on the Xbox 360 and I would get excited for every title update we got. Coming home every afternoon to play old Xbox 360 games, good times.
I used to have a capture card and I would record myself playing games such as Minecraft and GTA5 but even before that, I think around 2013, I would set my old camera up and record game-plays.
Playing other games like Left 4 Dead 2, Portal 2, Lego Star Wars 3, Call of Duty on the Xbox 360 was my childhood back in the day. I also used to play Zoo Tycoon and Gmod on PC.
My Xbox 360 is in a box somewhere in my garage, hasn't been booted up since 2014. My friends list is long asleep and they will never wake up, all my achievements and old games are just left dormant and long gone, knowing I will never go back onto it.
It's sad that we will never experience something like that ever again.
It was a blissful time of our lives man. I definitely recommend booting up your old 360 💜✨

Dude, thank you for this. I have played Minecraft on Mac and PC, Xbox One, Xbox Series X, iPhone and Switch, but the Xbox 360 version was my first and there is something insanely special about it. I played for so many hours on easy, no monsters, just digging and building and crafting and exploring. Then I started playing with monsters and it became even more fun. Thank you again.

I honestly don’t remember the first time I played minecraft but it had to either be on the 360 or a old I pod. it’s honestly crazy how far this game has come and grown to be apart of my life fr. Man, too long to fit in a comment probably, but I’m watching this video looking into the sunset whilst I’m sitting on our caravans balcony looking into the water. The place I’m at reminds me of the memories of this game and specific version. It also reminds me of so many childhood memories and family members some of those that have unfortunately passed away. This video gave me chills bringing back the memories whilst sitting in the spot I did just after this game released back in 2012 and allowing me to reflect on memories with my loved ones. The old Minecraft on the Xbox 360 ;-; , I remember how me and my bro would play this after school, we would find villages and build houses. And I used to play the tutorial world whenever I was bored.
The old textures and the soundtrack really took me back, and that old hurt sound. And i dont remember the sheep dropping wool when you hit them, back then I always struggled getting a bed lol. I also think that you would still get damaged when falling in only a block of water.
Minecraft has really changed alot. Its crazy how time flies, this gives me so much nostalgia.

No, since its not BC, it’ll be gone forever once the store shuts down (but it’ll be in Download History)

Hey I know that this isn't the type of vid to ask this question, and the likelihood of you reading this is real slim but oh well, maybe some others have had this problem as well? I recently have had problems saving my card information on my Xbox 360, I enter all the info correctly and every time it keeps giving me an error, did the marketplace already shut down? Are the Xbox 360 servers under maintenance? Or is this just a Me problem?
The Xbox 360 servers have been fucked for awhile this whole month. I haven’t been able to connect properly and play online in over 10 days now
If you’re having trouble purchasing, I suggest buying whatever you wanted to buy on the website, then searching it up on your 360 and downloading it (not download history, the actual marketplace)
Update: After going through support, I've found out that they will essentially tell you "sucks to suck" when trying to do anything with the Xbox 360, what sucks the most is regardless if anything is free on the 360, you still need a card which fucking sucks.. :/
