I´ve heard that Maiden will play these songs on the next tour: 1. Gangland 2. Holy smoke 3. then the whole "virtual eleven" album 4. Bring your daughter the slaughter 5. 3 pieces of the dance of death album 6. they close with two Metallica Covers from the St.Anger album
Here’s my (within reason) dream set: 1.Aces 2.Where eagles dare 3.killers 4.evil that men do 5. Flash of the blade/back in the village 6.flight of the Icarus 7.phantom of the opera 8. 2 minutes 9. Fear of the dark 10. Tailgunner 11. Rime of the ancient mariner 12.beast Encore 1. Run to the hills Encore 2. Trooper Encore 3. Hallowed Encore 4. Running free
Fates Warning is the best song on No Prayer For The Dying. My guess is Bring Your Daughter to the Slaughter though. Fear of the Dark title track gets played. Rime of the Ancient Mariner. They always play Iron Maiden. The Trooper. Hallowed Be Thy Name. From Killers though? I don’t they’ll actually do it but Bruce has said he’d really like to do Prodigal Son. He spoke highly of this song. I think they may bring back Remember Tomorrow though and that’ll be the more mellow or ballad for the setlist. I think it’d be cool if they did Genghis Kahn though. It’d be really wild if they surprised us with Cross Eyes Mary. I saw Iron Maiden when they reunited with Bruce and Adrian and did a short US tour promoting the Ed Hunter CD. I saw them at Nautica Stage in Cleveland, an outdoor venue under a draw bridge. It held about 4000 people. I was front row dead center! They played Killers and it was a ton of energy! I’m thinking they bring this one back. Iron Maiden always has the best concert shirts too! And so many that it’s hard to just pick even two. As for what I’d like to hear them play? I saw them in 85, 87; 88, 99, 00, 03, 04 or 05. I’ve seen them play a lot of their songs. Back In The Village would be awesome though. King of Twilight was always one of my favorite b-side cover tunes. It doesn’t matter what they play, they know how to deliver it on the big stage. I’d like to hear Running Free again though. Those first two albums are so authentic.
@@HunterBoldingVideo If they did an anniversary show like Rush did on the R40 tour then they’d close out with Burning Ambition but that is highly unlikely. Based on the artwork representing this tour, it does put a lot of emphasis on Killers and Number of the Beast. Eddie with the hatchet and the sky in the background have me thinking it’s a Number of the Beast revisited tour plus 5 songs after that years. It’s also sad about Nicki having to hang it up from touring. He will be missed.
Maiden specifically said they’ll play a lot of songs that haven’t been played in awhile and won’t be played again. Pretty sure we’ll get some deep cuts, while still getting the essentials.
Your setlist is close to mine. The song Maiden useally plays after the opener is wrathchild. My list realistic but with some possible deep cuts. 1. Murders in the rue morgue (this time with its own intro) 2. The trooper 3. Die with your boots on (this song is a bands favorite and we had revelations and others from piece of mind on the legacy tour, who knows they play still life ...) 4. Afraid to shoot strangers 5. Killers 6. Rime of the ancient mariner (it takes more then 13 minutes so I don't think the singles will be played while we had them on the legacy tour and powerslave on the book of souls tour, so now it is mariners turn) 7. Wasted years 8. Phantom of the opera 9. The number of the beast 10. Infinite dreams (many fans do request this song and Maiden said they know what songs we want to hear ...) 11. Fear of the dark (not just before the song iron maiden like on legacy of the beast) 12. Hallowed be thy name 13. Iron Maiden ‐----------------------------------- 14. Only the good die young (Steve Harris said he would like to play that song live once, well this is the right tour and it will be a great surprise as encore opener) 15. Bring your daughter to the slaughter 16. Run to the hills (the last words of the show will be, run for your lives ) ‐---------------------------------- Some shows in the UK might have a 2nd encore with Paul Di Anno as guest. There are rumors 17. Running free or sanctuary (and who knows prowler ...?)
I'd love to see them do holy smoke. Always been a favourite of mine. Other rareities I'd love are be quick or be dead, tailgunner, bring Your Daughter to the slaughter, infinite dreams, total Eclipse, another Life and killers
You have said it, we gotta keep it realistic! I would be happy with any of the following surprises: Prowler Remember Tomorrow Murders in the Rue Morgue Killers Drifter 22 Acacia Avenue Die with your boots on Rime of the ancient mariner Infinite Dreams Bring your daughter Tailgunner Be quick or be Dead Wasting Love From Here to Eternity Basically any new song that they haven't played in a while. I've been in every tour since 2009
@@HunterBoldingVideoIt’s one of the last of my favorite songs (that even has a chance of being played again) that I haven’t seen live and I’ve only seen them 3 times: ‘17, ‘19, and ‘24. Murders in the Rue Morgue and The Clairvoyant would also be great and I don’t think they are out of the realm of possibility. Then of course there are songs like Invaders, Deja Vu, and Loneliness that we’ll likely never hear live (other than that low quality bootleg with Loneliness).
I suspect there’ll be more love sent towards Seventh Son than Killers. Maiden have always been spotty when it comes to the first two albums. Aside from the Early Days tour you’re usually only hearing Wrathchild, Iron Maiden and Phantom of the Opera. I’m not expecting much difference here. If we do get something I’d expect Drifter or Sanctuary since Bruce has sang them a fair few times before. But on the whole expect far more than just The Evil that Men Do for Seventh Son.
i don't really know which way it'll go, it's been 10 years since Maiden England, and almost 20 years since Somewhere Back In Time, I would expect maybe Di'Anno's passing changes their plans a bit.
