Today I rode with Sir David in his Caterham 620R. We took a diversion to avoid the first bit which was on the motorway, but then encountered a road closed near the top of a mountain and had to retrace our steps quite a bit!

Having watched that before the Pyrenees and Alps tour I ended up going off with Sir David for a day on that....I was following him in my chariot... We went to Caterham in Ales to pick up some new tyres and then headed back north from there to Carpentras across some pretty challenging single track roads...but they were empty...we got cheered through a tiny village by a gang of teenagers having a party and then rejoined the main route for the last 60km near Avignon...sitting in village a bar having a beer while the rest of the mob came through slowly trying not to bottom-out was a nice ending to a tiring day...

Rick, great video, watched this twice! Love the drive bys as well, the tunnels and those mountain roads! Awesome car and looked like a lot of fun despite the snow getting in the way! Hotel looks lovely as well.

Yeah it was ace. Always the best adventures on these trips. Got a bit of heatstroke around lunchtime but after a cool down and some lunch I was back in the game. 😎👌

Ah amazing! You'll love it. Check out my channel for more Caterham content. I borrowed an Acid Green 310R for a bit. Did some brilliant photos around London. This 620R is brighter than that. More like Luminous Yellow. 😎👌

Dave is always on best behaviour when the cameras are running! We also jumped the Caterham over a closed bridge, and had a Police chase with 10 cars for over 20 miles, but the cameras weren't on. 🙄😜

The car's been taken on two tours so far and needed a rebuild after both.
But the gearbox elevates the driving experience to another level and I still wouldn't want the car with any other box!
