    Great video, loved the intro! 🤣 I've always fancied one of these and now they're available at drum shops near me then I'll need to get in and see what all the hype has been about!

    Great video! And funny intro too!
    I'm really glad to have watched this, now I know that the 6 in. Version just isn't for me... I hit way too hard to risk it bouncing around all the time. So, thanks for mentioning that tidbit!
    Also, always good to see a Mike Johnston fan!

    No other pad just like it..;.;it is different….really quiet, nice soft sound…. Worth the money to keep it for years and improve your technique while you enjoy having it…..

    3/22, Finally picked one up over the weekend. I got the 10" pad. enjoying it after a few hours of play. The WORKK surface is a great chop out option. Mostly playing on the FLEXX side. I like the fact that its very quiet. aside from the REMO Silent Stroke pad, its the most quiet option out of anything on the market. Msrp was 80 clams at GC.

    I have one of the original Reflexx pads from 2017 and after the novelty wore off I never use it. The lack of articulation really detracts from its value as a practice tool IMO

    You just flexed your video making skills with that intro, hahaha

    I wonder how many of those artists dropped the reflex(now zildjian) pratice pad as an endorcement becuase they dont play zildjian cymbals? Zildjian must raking it in selling 2 pieces of rubber stuck to a bit of wood for $90, I doubt we will get a factory tour of this one!

    I already own the moongel workout pad, guess there isn't any real advantage. That price is ridiculous but nice marketing

      I will say that it definitely feels different than the Moongel pad, but if that one already does the trick for you, probably no need to switch. Thanks for watching!

      Same here. I can't think of a pad with less rebound than the Moongel. For "muscle" practice I'll keep using the Moongerl, while I'll keep using the infamous Realfeel for everything else. I must say I do 90% of my practice on the Moongel.
      Still, this is an interesting product but it's pricey and not easy to find.

    The price is ridiculous. Just practice on a pillow or a carpet when you want something different than your pad.

    I agree, this Pad is Overrated and Overpriced. I have a Remo Practice Pad that was $25 and it works well.

      Just to clarify, I'm not saying that it's overrated or overpriced, but I could understand why someone might feel that way. Whether it's worth it to anyone in particular is up to them. If the Remo pad works well for you, you're set!

    Overpriced and came badly glued. The rubber is slowly scuffing away and it`s not that silent. In fact it has a deeper sound that is heard from farther away. I went back to the good old Real Feel. Maybe they should consider updating it but i doubt that since they sell a lot of these because of the marketing.

    Now for the review of the distracting keyboard bleed. ; )

    • @ColeParamore
      @ColeParamore  2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      I would call it background music, personally, but different strokes I suppose. Always a tough call on my part when editing - most videos in this vein have background music to keep things engaging and light, and I always try and have mine well below my voice, but I guess you can’t please everyone.

    • @ruffdrag
      @ruffdrag 2 ปีที่แล้ว

      Just teasing. It sounded like you were in a shared practice space (been there) and the keyboardist was working on arpeggios & scales. Thanks for the review. If you’re going to get this pad, I agree, get the 10” size. Happy practicing.

      I just hear "practice pants" on this timeline, and it makes me giggle every time))
      Like you need pants to practice on, before you can wear a real pants))
      Maybe to check the sound of a big one with practice pants first, to make sure, that you will not rip off the real ones))
