For anyone wondering why they didn't do Dark Side: Dark Side was actually the first map they tried, but due to a glitch, the mod doesn't sync up players in the Spewart boss fight room, meaning that anyone who hides there is invisible to other players. Smallant happened to be hiding there, and they decided that this was unfair, so they reset the timers. Obviously this was cut out of the video.
Ye I watched it live besides the glitch it was still fun to watch!
Aw that sucks. Hopefully Crafty can fix it, because I wanna see Mech shenanigans.

I'm not sure how fun deep woods is for the players, but it is so fun to watch. If it isn't horrible to play, I feel like it should be added to normal rotation.
During the stream I thought they said it should be added to their regular set.
If it was a team like crafty and amethyst, it would be abysmal due to the lack of warps I feel?
Surprised they havent just made it a rule to have 1 runner (Smant, Cj, Fir) and 1.. casual? as a nice way to put it? (Crafty & co)

I think it would be pretty interesting if you added deep woods and maybe blizzard snow in the normal kingdom wheel (I mean you have ruined kingdom in the wheel so it wouldn’t be that absurd)
I think it would be more interesting with invisibility caps
the thing with adding blizzard snow is thats its still really similar to regular snow, so it would just be like giving snow double the odds of being picked

It's banned from regular gameplay in that deep woods counts as a death if you fall in during a regular wooded round (just to keep the size down, like how in streams after this, no sub area metro sometimes happens), but treating it as a seperate kingdom just was never really considered
@@ryanmarcus3970 I feel like blizzard Snow Kingdom would at least be a little more interesting with no sub-areas/Shiveria, and low visibility ~and destroyed bitrates~ could make chases more fun.
Also yeah this could be hilarious with 2D/no cappy hide & seek.

New Multiplayer Idea: Death Tag
One player is hiding in the seeker (tagger)mode. The others try and chase down that player as a hider and tag him/her. Once they die, they are now running away from everyone. The round ends when everyone has died as a result of tagging the seeker.
To put it in simpler terms, 1 seeker and rest are hiders. Seeker runs so he/she doesn’t kill anyone. Goal of hiders is to get hit by the one seeker. Lowest time wins.

I think it would get too complicated to police deaths from other sources, because you don't want the game mode to devolve into people finding random ways to kill themselves. Maybe it wouldn't get that bad, but it's a little _too_ dependent on the honor system.
@@Nat_the_Chicken Killing yourself doesn’t count. Like if you touch poison, die by lava, or fall into the abyss, it does not count. They could also play it sardine style, which is this without the running.
@@kyleduvall8818 Sardines does sound like fun, but then the problem with that is that you have one loser and no winners and no score. So it probably wouldn't be fun more than once or twice.

for the deep woods, i know a good spot that sort of involves CJ's strategy of climbing up the vine.
If you hold down on your left analog stick while on the vine, since it is constantly going up, you will stay in place.
using this, we can get as high as possible and hold down on the left analog stick to stay in place and be practically invisible.
and yet, you still have an easy escape route as shown by CJ multiple times.

cjya I found an insanely good spot in sand kingdom and I want to see how good it would be in your games. Basically you go to the top of the pyramid and go inside, you burn out the first and jump up to the little thing above the exit and it's just right there. Although you might be able to get on the little platforms across but that's really hard and I haven't done it yet.

I don’t think darker side is such a bad idea. The idea of hide and seek on a linear path with looks of little nooks and cranny’s is really fun to me.
I would've found it hilarious if someone did the Darker Side CRC and just stood by the multi moon.

I can see darker/ruined/cloud but the other zones I think are totally fine. But god the darkness/snowblind mechanic is gonna be touuuuuugh
If they do another round of these "banned kingdoms", I recommend they have Bowser's sections in Moon Kingdom and Darker Side as locations, I think that would be fun

You should do the bowser run at the end as a location but you can capture bowser and everybody can just run around as bowser 🤣
You forgot about in the odyssey, delfino plaza, the bowser capture thing (I don’t know the real name), festival, & night cascade
If you don’t know night cascade is when you play Luigi’s balloon world in cascade
Delfino plaza was supposed to be in the game but they decided to either replace it with another kingdom or change their mind

If I were playing this, I would be the most unfunny hider in darker side. I would get to the end of the glideon section and start gliding back to the start when someone got close. My strategy wouldn’t be to have fun, it would be to make sure nobody else has fun.

Hey Crafty. I think I want to recommend something. In 2d areas, you should try to make it so that there's some invincibility when entering and exiting pipes since the time it takes is long and if a seeker enters the pipe at all, the hider is dead.
you should enable deep woods too add some spice to the next hide n seek
