If yours is an LE then you’ll just have to buy new housings. It’s on the models above ours.

Did mines today on my wife's 2018 Rav4 using exactly the same bulbs(Lasfit LA series 9012) and worked perfectly. Also did the fog lights using Lasfit H11s they worked great.

Dat Tu I replaced my fog lights for my 2016 Toyota RAV4 xle and let me tell you, it’s really difficult. So I went to a local repair shop and told them to replace it for me and they charged me $40 to replace both of em. A video on my channel will be coming about it so stay subscribed

I just changed the interior lights to LED on my 2016 xle and its night and day difference, defiantly recommend doing this cheap upgrade too.

question about the 9012 bulbs.
And I notice it’s the only halogen bulbs that I’m not sure if it’s a low beam or a high beam.
I looked up and it’s compatible to 9005.
And plus there’s no cap on top of the halogen bulbs.
Can this 9012 halogen bulbs to led bulbs functions for both low beam and switch to high beam?
Even if it has a single tiny narrow led chips that does for low beam, and one for high beam.
Can this 9012 does both low and high?
I plan on doing this along with my fog and reverse lights on my 2015 rav4.

Hi Blue TRD Jon, nice video! I changed all the interiors lights to LED in my Rav4 2015 xle and it looks pretty nice. One question Blue, the light in the dome can be only turn it on with the bottom located in the roof? It is hard try to reach the bottom when you are driving. Does your dome light turn it on with the small switch aside to the wheel? Greattings from Mexico!

I’m using Sea light H11 in my fogs. Plug and play and very inexpensive. And for my highs I have Auxbeam F16 series. I have a video for them. It’s about a year back. Under lighting playlist if you wanna check it out

Does the automatic high beam work on yours? Mine didn’t work. When I pushed the lever, the high beam just turned on no matter what. The automatic high beam function is lost.

Maybe reverse it to see. But ours works. That’s very strange.

Do these after market bulbs feel nice and tight in the socket light the original bulbs? I purchased some LED lights for my Rav4 but took them out because they didnt feel tight and secure. I was afraid moisture and water could get in. Any response is appreciated. I really wanna but these.

Do you notice any issues of glare and blinding other drivers? did you have to adjust the aim at all? Also curious to why it's so much cheaper on amazon compared to their actual website.
I’m not to sure why it’s a lot cheaper. I have noticed that it’s $20 ish cheaper on amazon.
And we haven’t adjusted them and neither of us have been flashed. The line cuts off before it reaches other drivers windshields. Idk if that’s how our car was adjusted from factory but we haven’t adjusted it.
@@TRDJon thanks for the response. One last question, How does the LEDs affect the DRLs (assuming the DRLs are the same as the headlights)?
They are not. The DRL now is just the amber lights up front. And of course!

No it’s just plug and play into the existing harness
My 2017 Rav4 le awd driver side lamp not working. DRL also not working in right side only. So if I install this led bulbs will drl work or not? Thanks for your help.
I’m not sure if it’s your bulb or the wiring. These were plug and play for me and they all work still. I’m sorry this wasn’t much help.

Mine is an LE so it doesn't eveen really have DRL to begin with. It's just am amber light.

I haven’t noticed any tbh. But if there is. You can use the decoder to help emliminate that.

White LED is stupid and prevents the eye from managing brightness response properly. Plus, yellow hued light from a full spectrum emitter travels better and difuses better. Just get brighter halogens and call it a day.
I like how they reflect of road signs and construction cones more then halogens
@@TRDJon Thats cool breh but this R not kandy land. I can use a single AA battery using LED pocket light and light up a road sign over 600 feet away. Halogen is legit. Natural light is best. LED lights are not good for eyes, nor even in homes. They mess with antenna pigments in various kinds of body tissue and over time.... well haha all I can say is like many other things people think is save or pleasurable, those folks can enjoy their FDA approved existence. Which FYI is a quality of life worse than many small nations and countries abroad :)

@@TRDJon For the same reason people will willingly expose themselves to hyper reactive nanoparticles and retroviruses in a allegedly safe vaccine. And no, Im not anti vaccine. Thats silly. But the point is, if you are a datapoint in a market trend, then the trend will be sought out to be maintained. With LED lights in general, they are toxic sources of light exposure. Even indirect exposure to LED light, particularly at night, is enough to disrupt deep sleep which over time can contribute to health decline(if you do not have regular dreams at least 3 to 4 times a week, it is highly likely your body is toxic or is being exposed to a stressful energy). So slight but the more needless exposire to stress factors also can potentially introduce an exponential factor in a field of awareness that wont be analyzed in time by one affected adversely. Also with LEDs, the fillament used in the diodes + any oscillation in the current feeding it will resonate the photon emission to the atomic resonance of the material in the emitter being excited. If this is a toxic heavy metal, its electromagnetic harmonic signature can affect the body almost to an extent as if that actual toxin were physically in the body. A natural fillament or some kinds of gas lights tend to have capactitance and resistance properties that create a sort of white noise so to speak... in the photon emission, and hence not as strongly impart their metalic harmonic signature in biological tissue. There are some lights such as mercury filled lamps which can send the mercury energetic signature into the tissue. Plants also suffer similarly, but due to the structure of their DNA, it is less affected by abnormal and artificial radiation exposure than an animal. I know this is a bit much but this is the kind of thinking that when it is lacking in an individual, can often degrade quality of life. This is only 1 subject and it spans to unfortunately so many things. And when someone says something about paying attention, lots of people respond in a non growth or knowledge increasing manner and dissmiss information of others. Describe this psychological process in your own words but thats what ill say for now lol.
Just hope you see what I mean and maybe check out some biological litterature on toxic effects of artificial light exposures, including radio frequencies. They also disrupt antenna pigments in cells. Depending on the single nucleotide characteristics of various individuals, different health issues can arrise which cant be directly assumed to have a relationship to non visible stress factors. If your bulb size is 9012 then yes. Your owners manual should tell you your actual size. I would say yes. But check just to make sure
