I'm excited for the future with Pablo at the helm as 117.
Veteran of the games and not the lore I see. Because in the books, you know, where the majority of the story of Halo happens, Master Chief and the other spartans don't walk around in their armor much except when on missions.
Oh really?! Would have been nice if everyone in connection to developing this TV Series had a 'Halo' Boot Camp because they missed on the 'Halo' story. What a missed opportunity.
I just told my wife in one of the new episodes that they had to have real training. There's a scene they're all getting ready for combat and they were actually all holding rifles correctly. I can count the number of times that everyone in a scene holds their rifle properly on one hand in movies I've seen. 😂😂😂 This confirms it. 👍

The shows trying to not stretch out the already thin lore from the video games I think. And I think it just works. Ya know how marvel comics has the MCU. Halo games have this live actions continuity alongside the games.
@@EmborFrost Halo has one of the most expansive lore universes
@@loiam9200 it's not. It's mostly just rehashed stuff told over and over again in each game. It seems like alot but it's like.. a battle that took 3 weeks stretched out over 4+ games
@@loiam9200 an hour or two worth of lore
@@EmborFrost wrong
Seeing Pablo correct their mistakes like chief makes me happy
Man reading the comments on this show really proves Halo fans are in the minority here. People seem to like it. I don’t know why but…more power.
But when you are making a Halo show, shouldn't it be trying to appeal to Halo fans?
Pretty natural. It’s not an awful show but they do actively alienate the core halo audience. So, I don’t blame either party. They deserve Both the hate and love they are getting
It's a pretty good show tbh.
@@chrismoore4724 no, because if it where to speak to halo fans it'd get cancelled. The halo game continuity is spread thin. And tbh some of it wouldn't make sense in a live action adaptation.
@@EmborFrost Then why make a Halo show? Why not make an original IP? And how would the source material not translate to live action? There are plenty of routes you can take, whereas the show makes little sense whatsoever and does a terrible job at explaining things to people who have no exposure to Halo. They can't even get the reason behind the Human-Covenant War right
I absolutely Love the Halo Show, it's the reason I subscribed to Paramount+!
I'm a Paramount+ fan for good.
Wow I love the effort and time they put into the making of this show
They spent 24 hours outside in the parking lot running in circles. Stop acting like its lord of the rings. Paid comment.
@@HuskerDerp ???
Cristian Bale came in TOO BUFF for Batman! This chick just said, I felt like I went through spartan augmentation! Clearly doesn’t understand Halo…
“They’ve been a team, since they were 9 years old”
This haunts me
Keep it up guys LOVE THE SHOW! :D
bot
@@HuskerDerp you wanna say ANYTHING else to us other than "bot"? Cause if so, people like me who liked the show are gonna ignore you. You're not going to get very far in a debate with us with that type of logic. And if you do reply, you're just gonna call me a bot too, so don't bother. I dealt with people like you before, so i see thee for what thou art: a troll.
The dude has a voice perfect for military films.
Wow, Pablo taking the lead even in training. No wonder it looks so good on screen. And props to the costume department for making suits that looks amazing in any lighting condition.
💯%
Ok credit where credit is due, they do put in some good effort to get ready for their Spartan characters
This is a camp I’ll love to go too
Join the Marines, it’s even better. 😏
@@flanagamer army. Not marine
@Nico lol definitely not a recruiter 😅 I personally enjoyed my time enlisted, but it’s definitely not for everybody, trust me. ❄️ need not apply.
@@flanagamer sorry, i dont like the taste of crayons
Just watched all episodes to date. Haven't played Halo for about 15 years maybe more so haven't really got an attachment to how it's portrayed on screen. All in all it's good. It's a tv show that entertains.
I forgot that Pablo has significantly more experience in this setting than anyone else, all thanks to 13 hours and Den of Thieves!
I can understand some people hating on the show…
What I DO NOT understand is hating the actors.
They do the best with what they’re given, there is absolutely NO excuse to bash on the actors.
Think about it this way. Say this series was a hit. The actors would get all the credit and you would be hard pressed to find an average viewer who remembers the rest of the people. So it makes sense that they also get all the hate when it’s bad.
@@eufrosniad994 Oof....
I really don't have a counter point, but I still think that actors, (in this case at least), don't deserve the hate, nor do I believe that the majority of the cast should be hated as well.
I think that the full fault should go to the directors, (and in some ways), the writers.
Amazing show! Can't wait for the next episode!
it's trash
Its probably fine if you dont like Halo.
I talked to Pablo before the premiere in Hollywood and this all make sense because he had a certain posture to him. Awesome work.
I hope Pablo knows that there are a lot of people that like the show and think he's a fantastic Chief
Great show. PABLO IS AMAZING!
The show has been somewhat disappointing, but it was clear that they knew what they were doing when it came to combat. This is actually very cool.
This is hoakey and terrible compared to every other live action halo prodyxtion. They cant even shoulder their guns right.
@@jeo228 You realize that it was probably impossible with the armor design.
The Show is phenomenal and i love the progression and, i love the approach the show gives and i cant wait for the next episode!

@@HuskerDerp imagine being you.
I honestly can say as a Halo fan I do appreciate their efforts. I wish they would have stuck to the original storyline of Halo and left Master Chiefs helmet on.
It is not unusual, NCIS and Jag both had NAVY Consultants even though NAVY REALLY isn't that important.
go away fly
What?
Unreal the Actors are right into it and its good for us the public to see how it all opens up cheers.
gracias por esta serie tan Hermoza :)
X2
I loved the Halo show. Looking forward to season 3!
Man, it sucks that all this work was wasted. The writers of this show should've been in this boot camp as well. Then maybe we would've gotten some more action scenes.
@Master Chef Stop ruin it for us who love the show!
They all did an incredible job with their training and more.
If only as much care was put into the story as was put into making them function like a team, I think Pablo is the only one on the production team that even understands Halo, too bad he has to be attached to this Non-Canon dumpster fire
This is the type of training and dedication that makes things great. A lot of people are being nit picky with the writing etc but honestly the passion these actors show is amazing. I've been a Halo fan since day one. Read most of the books, played every game, all of that and I love what I am seeing on the show. There is so much sub text and the character development and arcs are impressing me with every new episode. Great training on working as a team, the movements, interactions, weapon manipulation. With the scenes showing engagements/firefights, you can really see how Silver Team functions naturally without having to constantly talk or call targets, they just do what they do best, Be Spartans. I'm excited for the future with Pablo at the helm as 117.
i liked the series though its different from the game adaptation these actors our good for the series and thats why i continue watching the series
Don’t blame the actors, blame the writers.
Soo much training for a tv show that feels almost like a mexican soap opera...
I've seen Mexican soaps
@Master Chef Master Emotional Cheeks
Maybe they will tell their Spartans to WEAR THEIR FRICKING HELMETS more often, but maybe that’s just me
Veteran of the games and not the lore I see.
Pablo is experienced with fire arms you can tell. Everyone else not so much hahaha
My husband and I enjoy this show so much. I really like Pablo too! lol
I know it's not popular to say, but I have been enjoying the show.
We need more spartans
Now that Rooster Teeth's Red VS Blue is up for sale, Halo needs to buy it and make something like a spine off or even have cameos in the Halo show.
You can see the chemistry in the show, it feels real and not off putting. Can't wait to see the rest of the season.
It dose?
I just told my wife in one of the new episodes that they had to have real training. There's a scene they're all getting ready for combat and they were actually all holding rifles correctly.
I can count the number of times that everyone in a scene holds their rifle properly on one hand in movies I've seen. 😂😂😂
This confirms it. 👍
I love This serie,halo

Dan is crazy for getting them to shoot real guns, and also crazy lucky to get away with it
Amazing!!!!
@Master Chef Man you are just crying in every coment. Stop acting like a baby. The series are actually good, just stop thinking that it must be exactly as the games, that is child mentality.
I liked it when master chief took off his helmet, and he was still wearing a helmet that had me rolling.
never take off the helmet. you are not john 117
Spartan Vannak is the GOAT as far as the show is concerned
im really hoping paramount signs on for a 3rd season. its going to be painful to have gotten so attached to the show only for it to be throw away after season 2.
@@CHYAC he might had played it, we know script sucks. But the scenes of cgi are a delight to see tbh. Like Reach, condor/pelicans flying, and is obviously better than halo 3 cutscenes in terms of effects, not narrative

The show didn’t need a boot camp. It needed the creators to read and understand the universe.
Spartan Vannak needs his own show. He’s the real Master Chief in this.
He's cool, but he's not Master Chief.
