I absolutely love this video! May I use a few of the shots in a portion of virtual music video concert for a City of Bowie Arts Council event? I will certainly credit you for the shots. Please advise at your earliest opportunity.. Many thanks
Raised in Bowie's Kenilworth section from age 3 until I moved to Arizona at 22. Been back to visit many times. Unfortunately, the entire area has turned in to a complete rat race. No going back now, but to see it today makes me extremely sad. The community (as a whole) has definitely gone WAY downhill and will continue to do so as the Levitt homes push 60 years old. Some parts are unrecognizable. Kenilworth Elementary is terribly dilapidated and in need of a major renovation. I took my girlfriend for a visit and nostalgic walk around Foxhill pond and you can't even walk on the pathway for the sheer volume of dog feces. Smells terrible and the pond is nothing but a swamp now with a little open, muddy water in the middle. I used to work for Park & Planning, Landscape Development Dept., and their quality of care for the county's parks has become abysmal. I only have one friend left in Bowie and is the only reason I would ever enter the city limits again. Too too bad for a place I loved so much! What memories, but unfortunately only memories. The REAL Bowie is gone and now only a shell exists.
Beautiful choices and photography!
Very nice!
I love the scenic shot you were able to capture of the area. Keep the good work!
Good Sheeeeeet Keep it up
The airport was my favorite part. Good video. Thanks
I appreciate that! Had to give respect to the other flyers
