Riding along with you I knew exactly where I was. I go to Bowie frequently to shop, eat and/or see friends and relatives. Notice how clean everything is? The residents and store owners take pride in their town as does the City of Bowie's government. Crime is low. Neighborhoods were planned around the family. Good schools, great libraries, good shopping centers, local playhouse (theater/plays/special productions), antique shops, lots of walk and play areas. Ño wonder Bowie was found to be one of the top 50 cities in the US to live. Prince George's County gets a lot of bad notice but there's still a lot of good, safe neighborhoods here. Thanks for the ride. (Just wish you'd talk during your videos)
I lived in Bowie from 1961-1969. In fact, our house (12421 Sadler Lane) was one of the first 5 houses in the Belair development. You drove through my old neighborhood. Fascinating to see how much things have changed.
Thanks for the scenic drive through Bowie. Sure has changed since I lived there almost 30 years ago. Was a great bedroom community back then. The unofficial city slogan was “ Almost Anne Arundel.” Cruising through the many Levittown neighborhoods reminds me of how few actual home plans there were, just a bunch of different colors and such trying to make them all a little different looking. Again thanks for the drive down memory lane.
Lived in PG (Prince George's) County from 1992-93 when my parents separated, and visited from time to time until 2008. My aunt and uncle on my mom's side now live in Waldorf in Charles County, but were former residents of PG County. Always love visiting the DMV (DC - Maryland - Virginia). -DFW
Bowie, Maryland, sucks big time. Most boring small town I have ever known. Nothing to see, nothing to do. It's even more boring than Annapolis. Can't understand why people would want to live here.
There’s a punk in Bowie Maryland going around snatching and robbing old ladies (my mom) dog if anybody know of a guy who all of a sudden has a small black dog please contact me this dog means the world to my family and me

Have a friend there! This was my first visit 😊❤. Maybe in person one day but this was nice.
Thanks for the ride down Memory lane. Lived in Bowie from 1981-2012.😊
Looks just like Alexandria, VA.
HA I LIVE IN BOWIE! PROBABLY SAW YOU!!! Really representing Maryland well on channel. I'm so proud 👊🏾🥹
Oh yeah probably so! Thanks. There's some very nice areas in PG County.
Bowie's a great place to live and work.

It's still a great neighborhood. My husband helped build some of those Levitt homes back in the '70s. Bowie is one city I wouldn't mind living in.
Awesome drive through Downtown Bowie MD
This is were am going to stay in this October so happy can’t wait 🥰🥰

You should have stayed on Belair drive just after Kenhill and gone through the tree tunnel
Yes!
BHS 1969.
My family and I lived there back in like 82-83 before we moved to Florida..
Back when we were young and free, and everyone believed in us, including ourselves.
Nice ride in Bowie MD
A nice scenic tour but where are the medical centers, grocery markets, bus stop, movie theatres, churches?
Thank you for the tour. I was a little disappointed to see the same stores in the downtown area that are in every mall in America though.
I used to live here!!
Awesome video. Thank you for uploading. It was really sad to see that 5G tower though. I wish they'd take them all down.
LOL There is no downtown Bowie. The closest thing to it would be old town Bowie
True.
BHS 1969
does anyone know Bob of Bowie?

I think Laurel Maryland is very boring. A bunch of nothing!
Many suburbs are although Laurel has a nice Patient Refuge next to Bowie's border.
