I know that i was terrified going in to the house because i knew how angry the man was at the owner i felt something was going to be bad I binge watched and took so many notes from you. I have been able to learn so much from your videos and I am so thankful for your help. Just giving you an update here now on the home it's been a few days I spent hours cleaning and I am not sure if I can say this on here but here goes . The man that moved out of the house was surely an awful individual . Not only did he leave a place that needed to be cleaned he left an animal that passed away. I am sure you have never experienced anything like that before. I can't believe what I have dealt with here. My heart was not prepared for this for sure. I respectfully removed the animal. I hope this isn't going to far letting you know what I have dealt with I do realize it is not normal for anyone to experience this but it happened and I surely was shocked and unsure what to do exactly. I hope no one ever has to deal with this kind of thing. After all of this the home now looks great and some men who were working walked in and said hey I would like you to clean our place to this looks great. I had to tell them I learned a lot from you and your channel. Thank you

We are property owners of multiple units for more than 20 years. Your clients should give you a cleaning list but what I tell myself and my helpers “would I move into this and not re-clean because the owners did such a good job?” Would I use the bathroom? Take a bath? Put my dishes and food in the cupboards? Put the crib by a wall in the bedroom? We call this being “renter ready”. I don’t give my cleaners a time limit because each turn is different. I have re-CLEANED after my helpers finished because they could not meet this higher standard. We bring in professional carpet cleaners but pretty much everything else is on the cleaners. You may spend a LOT of time on the walls - if you don’t the landlord will need to repaint … lights will take u longer because renters rarely maintain them. Keep a list of general garbage left in the unit; and a list of damage such as pet scratches, wall punches, etc; also just failing paint and surface finishes - while we inspect for these we are always thankful for the input. Clean every switch and knob with a disinfectant…if they are too grimy let the landlord know - we have changed them all out many times. When u are done inspect every closet, room and appliance as if you are moving in.

Yes. Most professional house cleaners have switched to microfiber cloths for cleaning for this very reason. It leaves your surfaces clean, you get upwards of 500 washing machine cycles from good cloths, and you reduce land waste by not using paper towels.
No. Most house cleaners, maids and homeowners are not carpet cleaners. That is a different science and if you don't know what you are doing you can ruin carpets, carpet pads and flooring. Professional carpet cleaners have the trucks, hoses, fans and the insurance to guarantee your floors are clean without damage.
