It will leave steaks when using an wood oil cleaner or wood polish so you have to wipe it down a second time with a dry clean rag! Great cleaning!

Cleaning should help get your deposit back. We have had crappy luck. Every place we lived before we would spend alot of time to clean and shampoo carpets just for them to charge for carpet shampooing anyway because it was there policy and then of course trying to charge for things that were 100 percent clean ( good thing you are filming this) I would definitely suggest for people to film a walk through themselves after they clean so the apartments can't pull one over you. Our luck, we only got back 200 out of 1,300 back. We could have just saved our time deep cleaning because they were going to charge anyway. We thought of fighting it but what a headache and we just moved into a house we bought. Hoping for your experience to be better :)

It’s a good idea to Read your lease, so you know what the policy is.
I live in a state where few people know the laws. The landlord MUST provide you with a list of what is not clean enough and 24 hours to fix it. If they do not they cannot withhold any money. Sadly most people do not know if this law and just pay the bill.
I had to fight those charges. I think many places that are corporate owned automatically will just charge you. I used to clean for a living and deeeeep cleaned my apt to the point it was cleaner than when I moved in but still charged. I Told them I was reporting to the BBB and only then did they refund it.
This was awesome to watch! I am doing a moveout clean for a new client in two days; I kept having to get up and grab stuff you were mentioning to add to my supplies (extra rags, paper towels, etc.). You did a great job, thanks!

I’m glad to know that after cleaning the oven I’m not the only one who forgot how to put the racks back in lol it’s been taking me about one week to deep clean each room perfectly lol

We've had one for a very long time - probably since potty training time and my kids are older now! We've gone through several of them lol! With 3 kids and 2 dogs it was a must!! Right?!? I feel like I’m never this picky when I’m deep cleaning a place that I actually live in. 😅😅
Do it. Landlords like me love giving back deposits. More often than not the deposits get eaten up by cleaning fees at $25 per hour. Most are lucky if they get back a partial deposit. Some think their cleaning jobs are ok but forget that the spill and crumbs left in a refrigerator may take time to scrape off and clean to look like new. Nice to have clean carpets but if someone has to clean the baseboards and dust the ceilings, fans and tops of the refrigerators that takes time too. Remember to use the self clean on the oven regularly. It’s easier to wipe off ash than it is to scrape off stuck on grease! All of that, no matter how simple it is takes time to do. If you bother to do the big visible stuff and make it look shiny and clean, go the extra mile and finish up the smaller stuff. Guaranteed to make your landlord happy and get a full refund of your deposit!

@@curiouscat9204 Nope I sound like someone who wanted an actual answer to my question as I was in the process of moving out and wanted verification. I had been told by others that landlords will be picky about the walls. This women is giving bad advice. Because the rental company did make me go back and redo the walls of two of the rooms in the apartment I was exiting.
So I would steer clear of her advice as she is an amateur at best and just plain wrong in some of her statements.
