My mom is looking to get into a 2025 after 5 years with her 2020 and even though it’s the same gen the updates were done really well. The exterior is sleeker and more cohesive, and I really like how they redid the center console area and moved the vents up top. Also the materials they used have improved. It’s a great entry to mid level merc.
after driving a tesla for 6 years I was looking into going back to a traditional make. I really like this benz but I don’t like the touchscreens, since that’s an aspect of my tesla that I’m trying to get away from. Great video by the way
I continue to enjoy the info you give and the way you present it. Completely separate from that praise, it is hard to imagine a world (for me anyway) in which it makes sense to pay $780/month to lease this Merc for 3 years. I want a vehicle that will last far longer than that. Perhaps I need to think less long-term, and keep in mind that in 3 years I will trade this SUV for another just like it, but $780 is a lot o money for something as uninspiring as this. Or maybe it is worth every penny. To each their own.
@@jeffbaker9847 no this is absolutely not worth $780 a month most Mercedes Leases outside of EVs are awful even before the pandemic. You can do MSDs to lower the interest rate further and that certainly helps but in this case I think finance is better. I just like to show the calc as a resource so consumers can compare and contrast the different methods of buying and to see the incentives they can qualify for.
@@MeynMotorGroup Yah I understand, and I do appreciate seeing numbers -- lease, MSRP, residuals, etc. All info is good to consider, even if I choose to use it to rant. If I were looking for a new vehicle, I would talk to Auto Companion, because they are presenting options.
@@jeffbaker9847 yea my friend you don’t have to lease you can pay cash or finance and still get the same discounts. Incentives may depend on your purchase method tho which is why it’s good to use the calc
I've owned 2 GLEs and 2 GLCs from the past. Great car. I just leased the 2024 GLC300 base. Mercedes has cut corner on this model. The brakes are trash!! compared to the previous models. I cant believe MB is cutting corner on the brakes for this historical model. The best selling and a money maker for the MB. The brakes are undersized. It fades with too much pedal travel. It does not bite. Never had this issue with the past MB. I was able to verify that the base model come with an under sized brake calipers compared to that from the past GLCs and the current non-base model. I;ve never seen this type of standard front calipers on a MB. It must be new to save on cost. The worst place to cut corners. Highly do not recommend buying a MB today wo. checking out the brakes.

Once you got used to drive a electric powertrain, any ICE powertrain for sure will disappoint you. Too slow, too loud, too much friction etc.
