For those that went to invade the NPC and died 3-5 times and the dude won't annoint you... I got excited and got carried away and beat the dude on my first try thinking I had F'd it up. I went back and he annointed me, so maybe now you have to beat the offline NPC.

20:13 activating this shrine does NOT. Allow you to respawn at the statue. They are two different things. Statue of Marika is proximity based, if you die near it, you can respawn at it. The shrine activated is a summoning pool and allows you to be summoned at that spot when you use another item.

@@greenlime5127 probably a statue nearby also. I promise, I've beaten the game three times and after my first playthrough I don't activate the summoning pools anymore. I still get spawned at statues of Marika when I die. It's also in the help tab. It tells you what a summoning pool is the very first time you touch one. And the statue of Marika tooltip shows up when you find your first one, normally at the camp where you meet Melina.
*for those of us who use the seamless coop, there is another way* but its a lot more difficult. You need the haligtree secret medallion, which in order to get the left half, you have to go to castle sol, which is in the upper right most region near the mountaintops of the giants. unfortunately, to access this region, you need two great runes. Once you've got both halves of the medallion, you can use them at the grand lift of rold to access the consecrated snowfield, where there is a portal in the western side that takes you to Mohgwyn place. *This took me over 3 hours to do and i already had the required great runes*
if you have the sacred relic sword at plus 10 then you can go to the same spot and send out the wave of gold to kill the large group of those bald guys. if you have the golden scarab equipped, it's almost 100k runes per swing of the swords ability. once they're dead just rest at the grace site and repeat.

Hey, just a little improvement that I saw was that around 5:37 you can actually just jump off to the right and skip all the birds and knights and everything and go straight to the part with all the soldiers and stuff.
Great videos you put together - what makes your videos so much better than the majority of other You Tubers is your explanations are thorough , you show clear maps with enough screen time and logical zooming in to understand where the location is , how to get there and importantly you have a good sequence of pre steps in terms of starting at earlier locations and logically progressing through places to get to the end point. So many others doing "how to " videos fail to explain how to achieve the end goal off line ; there are plenty of gamers who find themselves in locations where it's not possible to get a decent internet connection or they simply prefer offline play. Often other You Tubers making similar content will start at a place the viewer doesn't know how to get to or can't find on a map , making their entire video of little use. Appreciate the time you put into making these quality guides
After i acumulated 2 300 000+ runes the bird actually adapted and instead of falling down, stepped back and started to just look at me. Then i rest by site of grace and everything went back to normal... Thanks for a vid dude that helped a lot
To everyone who killed varre (the guy). There's nothing you can do to revive him. Finish the game and start new game+ or if you're early just create a new character Edit: or progress more then you can unlock the mohg by itself which you can reach on endgame
I can confirm this still very much works. I used this about 2 years ago on my first playthrough, to get me high enough level, to essentially make the rest of the game EZ. Using the gold scarab and the gold pickled fowl foot. If you do this without making any mistakes. Using a single gold pickled foul foot, So every three minutes I was making 250k plus runes, Give or take 15k Because sometimes you make mistakes. Sometimes you do it perfectly. For the whole three minutes. So 3 minutes = 250k. That equates to 5,000,000 runes per 60 minutes or 20 gold pickled fowl foots.
I believe that every new player should thank you for this video, but sadly as a veteran in souls games I must say that after a certain point nothing works 😢.
I've got the bird snipe down to like 12 13 seconds a run and respawn. I'm glad you got detailed with watching the bird start to go off the cliff. Do not hit the bird and run..because they will jerk you and not give you your reward..most of the time. occasionally they'll still hit you off. Another important detail: Hit the bird at night..every 40 or 50 snipes..you'll get over 80,000 instead of the 17,000 plus you normally get. Because every 40 to 50 snipes, you're gonna hit that red-eyed bird that drops you the extra goods.

For those that don't know, you can get way more runes by dual wielding Radahns Weps, After killing the bird, (run down the path you took to go up to get the site of grace) kill the mobs there using the gravity special. Even more efficient is using the Sacred Relic Sword wipes all those mobs in one go.
If yall really want to get the maximum out of farming the albs in mohgwyn do it in ng+5 (journey 6) with max str,dex, faith, all of rakshasa’s set equipped, sacred scorpion charm, alexanders greatshard and ritual sword talisman. Trust me thats the most you guys going to get cause you still getting that overkill on the red albinaurics if you go to ng+6 you aint getting the bonus unless you use golden vow which is annoying and you only get 100 runes more for killing those guys in ng+6

20:50 yea he was a nightmare on the third try i said f it and used sorcery. Worked like a charm especially if u have the whip for when he gets to close and youre cornered force roll him to open up space.

thats like 3 lvls. i find the dlc enir ilim to be faster. u go to the first rise grace and follow the path out the arch and over the broken bridge. there will be a group of cursed erdtree priests. if you have a high enough damage output, u can use the aow from the sacred relic sword to one shot them all, getting about 30-40k every 15 seconds or so.
Start the game as samurai. Get Torrent and immediately go to the portal behind the Church of Marika in Limgrave to get easy runes from the big sleeping dragon (kill with bleed procs). Use those runes to reach 18 strength and 17 dex. May want to spend all your runes here (see goal stats below) in case you die in the next step. Grab Flame Grant Me Strength while you're over in Caelid. It's behind Fort Gael on the very western edge, northwest of the Caelid Waypoint Ruins. It sits between 2 flame chariots. Go kill Bloodhound Knight Darriwil at his evergaol in southern Limgrave. Grab the Golden Vow ash of war from the mounted knight on the hill east of Limgrave coliseum. Collect somber smithing stones to get Bloodhound's Fang (the weapon he drops) to +5. Get the bloodflame blade incantation. Gather materials for roughly 5-6 sleep pots. Spend all your runes, making sure to reach 22 strength and 21 faith at minimum, as you will need to die in the next step and will not be able to recover the runes. Get eaten by one of the iron maidens to get to Volcano Manor. Kill the Godskin Noble using sleep potions and bleed procs. Go straight to Rykard and kill him for the Blasphemous Blade by turning in his remembrance at Roundtable Hold. Gather somber smithing stones to reach +9 with the Blasphemous Blade. Congrats, you've made a build capable of steamrolling pretty much the entire game and you've only played for 1-2 hours. Always enjoy your guides, just isn't necessary to spend time farming (other than the dragon once) when you can just let insane weapons carry you instead of stats :) EDIT: forgot to mention you'll need 2 buffs, added steps on how/where to get those.
Yeah not gonna work if don’t end up killing the boss with sleeping potions and now your stuck down there at a low level and no more potions can’t go around because there’s 2 more bosses you have to kill won’t be able to summon since you didn’t explore enough to gain them
@@Mydikincider You almost have to try to not kill the Noble in 2 sleep procs. I did forget to mention 2 very important things, which are the buffs, so I'll edit those in. You'll have the a +5 Bloodhound's Fang, Flame Grant Me Strength, Golden Vow (via secondary weapon ash of war), and Bloodflame Blade, which should be more than enough damage to drop the boss in 2 sleeps.
if you don't want to unlock the dectus lift, since i read it locks out some dialogues or something, you can just dip that think in church of inhibition.
Even you play in offline you still can do the quest without go to Writheblood ruins instead you do the quest at the volcano manor, she will give you a letter that send you to fight with invader boss 3 time. you can finish both quests at the same time with only fight 3 invader. i think they plan this at first but people don't get it or not found it yet so they have to add more invader in game. *and it not cost any Bloody Finger.
Just want to point out for my caster bros, this can be done with Rock Sling. Either run to the edge right after resting at the grace and cast 2-3 times in a row. OR if you have ADHD like me you can cast Rock Sling basically at any point, at that height it becomes a homing missile.
If it aint patched yet, there is a wall in the same place (down the grace there and always straight, if im not mistaken) you jump to the top the mountain and then on your horse you go as close to the edge of the map as possible. If you jump with the horse and never stop attacking eventually all mobs die and you can fast travel back to that grace and repeat. Thank me later. And sorry if i was not clear, as english is not my main language.
I recommend taking the ash "magical shot" ( my translation don't know if I used the right wording) on your Bow and aim on the bird is a faster way than manually shooting at him.
Pretty sure you can beat Mogh means you already beat final boss or just go and beat final boss then get the Sarced Order Great Sword, upgrade it to +9 at the same location, just spam the weapon art on those sleeping little dudes and rest at grace to reset, 30k - 50k rune in a single hit or two is way faster and easier
that is the one thing about these games that I hate is the quests NPC's are so cryptic and also you have no idea sometimes where to go to talk with them again. Its a point of these games I find extremely annoying if you want to finish quests. Do not know why they think its cool to do it this way unless you enjoy just googling everything but that just puts a dent in your enjoyment. Reminds me of the old days of Everquest with those quests that were the same way.
one thing, the unfolding of the games story is the first DS game I have actually understood the story, I never cared or found it to broken as far as finding npc's then remembering their dialogue to actually care to understand why the world is the way it is. Every other souls game I have played it was just a game of beating enemies and staying alive and if I grasped the story it was kinda of a side thing. This game makes it easier but it still baffles me. I actually had to watch a youtube video to understand the whole souls story as to why these worlds are the way they are.

I'm glad I found this video thank god. I spent 1+ hour on the cailid rune farm (2k rune) and I tried this and got 100k+ in just few mins. I'm flabbergasted
There is what seems to be a random bug that happens while doing this farm. I have had it happen twice in all my time doing it and you will get just over 55k. There's no reason for it, I think it might be a glitch feeding you NG+7 rune levels for the death of the bird.
No, there is a chance where an enemy will spawn with glowing eyes and will give you 5x the runes on death. It is intended and is not the ng+7 levels as that would be around 27k.
Just wanted to let people know that if you have a Mage build or a staff if you have Loretta's great bow spell it also works plus every time u sit at grace u get mana back so that way u don't have to buy arrows thought u might need to fire twice once to gets it attention and the second time to get it to fall

Thanks for your Guides (scarab, early dragon farming, etc.) friends dragged me into Elden Ring, they are currently above level 500 and doing the DLC. Never played a Souls-like before this, but when having actual good Stats it makes so much fun. No idea what spells, buffs or Talisman to use/get. Bloodflame and the Blaidd-sword goes crazy.
With the Elden beast remembrance sword you can use the skill to kill the alburanics sitting down and get 100k per per wave on ng+ 50k on first play through
You also need the Sacred Relic Sword. Bow the Bird and then walk a few steps towards the enemies ahead and spam twice the Wave of Gold. Return to the site of grace. Trust me.
@@Cole_B169 You don't need the sword for THIS FARM. This farm is about murdering the chicken thing, for which you ONLY need a bow and arrows. The Sacred Sword is required for a DIFFERENT farm.

At the 20 minute mark, you advise to "jump off this cliff." Then you edit to when you're down under the cliff. That cliff kills you every time you jump off it, so.....

If you have access to the dlc, the bone bow’s skill makes hitting the bird much quicker and more consistent, no manual aiming required.

Do the bird, beat elden beast, use remembrance for sword, lvl to +10, go back use sword and kill every Albanaric there for 100k or more runes
U can also use starscourge greatsword ash of war a bit slower than the elden beast sword but faster than the bird

For those that don't know, you can get way more runes by dual wielding Radahns Weps, After killing the bird, (run down the path you took to go up to get the site of grace) kill the mobs there using the gravity special. Even more efficient is using the Sacred Relic Sword wipes all those mobs in one go.
If yall really want to get the maximum out of farming the albs in mohgwyn do it in ng+5 (journey 6) with max str,dex, faith, all of rakshasa’s set equipped, sacred scorpion charm, alexanders greatshard and ritual sword talisman. Trust me thats the most you guys going to get cause you still getting that overkill on the red albinaurics if you go to ng+6 you aint getting the bonus unless you use golden vow which is annoying and you only get 100 runes more for killing those guys in ng+6
And of course sacred relic sword maxed out. Should be getting roughly 2mil for every golden foot you consume which last 3 minutes

Thank you for always taking the time to include the traveling from location to location in your videos. It can be confusing when people say just go here then there showing it on the map but leaving you to figure out if there's a round about route that has to be taken.
20:50 yea he was a nightmare on the third try i said f it and used sorcery. Worked like a charm especially if u have the whip for when he gets to close and youre cornered force roll him to open up space.

At the trebuchet section, if you go up the incline on the right side of the road, you can bypass the siege weapons completely, and safely.
For anyone curious- you can also get the ash of war, “Blood Tax,” in the farming location as well.

thats like 3 lvls. i find the dlc enir ilim to be faster. u go to the first rise grace and follow the path out the arch and over the broken bridge. there will be a group of cursed erdtree priests. if you have a high enough damage output, u can use the aow from the sacred relic sword to one shot them all, getting about 30-40k every 15 seconds or so.
Start the game as samurai.
Get Torrent and immediately go to the portal behind the Church of Marika in Limgrave to get easy runes from the big sleeping dragon (kill with bleed procs).
Use those runes to reach 18 strength and 17 dex. May want to spend all your runes here (see goal stats below) in case you die in the next step.
Grab Flame Grant Me Strength while you're over in Caelid. It's behind Fort Gael on the very western edge, northwest of the Caelid Waypoint Ruins. It sits between 2 flame chariots.
Go kill Bloodhound Knight Darriwil at his evergaol in southern Limgrave.
Grab the Golden Vow ash of war from the mounted knight on the hill east of Limgrave coliseum.
Collect somber smithing stones to get Bloodhound's Fang (the weapon he drops) to +5. Get the bloodflame blade incantation.
Gather materials for roughly 5-6 sleep pots.
Spend all your runes, making sure to reach 22 strength and 21 faith at minimum, as you will need to die in the next step and will not be able to recover the runes.
Get eaten by one of the iron maidens to get to Volcano Manor.
Kill the Godskin Noble using sleep potions and bleed procs.
Go straight to Rykard and kill him for the Blasphemous Blade by turning in his remembrance at Roundtable Hold.
Gather somber smithing stones to reach +9 with the Blasphemous Blade.
Congrats, you've made a build capable of steamrolling pretty much the entire game and you've only played for 1-2 hours.
Always enjoy your guides, just isn't necessary to spend time farming (other than the dragon once) when you can just let insane weapons carry you instead of stats :)
EDIT: forgot to mention you'll need 2 buffs, added steps on how/where to get those.

Yeah not gonna work if don’t end up killing the boss with sleeping potions and now your stuck down there at a low level and no more potions can’t go around because there’s 2 more bosses you have to kill won’t be able to summon since you didn’t explore enough to gain them
@@Mydikincider You almost have to try to not kill the Noble in 2 sleep procs. I did forget to mention 2 very important things, which are the buffs, so I'll edit those in. You'll have the a +5 Bloodhound's Fang, Flame Grant Me Strength, Golden Vow (via secondary weapon ash of war), and Bloodflame Blade, which should be more than enough damage to drop the boss in 2 sleeps.
if you don't want to unlock the dectus lift, since i read it locks out some dialogues or something, you can just dip that think in church of inhibition.
Even you play in offline you still can do the quest without go to Writheblood ruins instead you do the quest at the volcano manor, she will give you a letter that send you to fight with invader boss 3 time. you can finish both quests at the same time with only fight 3 invader. i think they plan this at first but people don't get it or not found it yet so they have to add more invader in game.
*and it not cost any Bloody Finger.

Just want to point out for my caster bros, this can be done with Rock Sling. Either run to the edge right after resting at the grace and cast 2-3 times in a row. OR if you have ADHD like me you can cast Rock Sling basically at any point, at that height it becomes a homing missile.
If it aint patched yet, there is a wall in the same place (down the grace there and always straight, if im not mistaken) you jump to the top the mountain and then on your horse you go as close to the edge of the map as possible. If you jump with the horse and never stop attacking eventually all mobs die and you can fast travel back to that grace and repeat. Thank me later. And sorry if i was not clear, as english is not my main language.
I recommend taking the ash "magical shot" ( my translation don't know if I used the right wording) on your Bow and aim on the bird is a faster way than manually shooting at him.

Pretty sure you can beat Mogh means you already beat final boss or just go and beat final boss then get the Sarced Order Great Sword, upgrade it to +9 at the same location, just spam the weapon art on those sleeping little dudes and rest at grace to reset, 30k - 50k rune in a single hit or two is way faster and easier
that is the one thing about these games that I hate is the quests NPC's are so cryptic and also you have no idea sometimes where to go to talk with them again. Its a point of these games I find extremely annoying if you want to finish quests. Do not know why they think its cool to do it this way unless you enjoy just googling everything but that just puts a dent in your enjoyment. Reminds me of the old days of Everquest with those quests that were the same way.
one thing, the unfolding of the games story is the first DS game I have actually understood the story, I never cared or found it to broken as far as finding npc's then remembering their dialogue to actually care to understand why the world is the way it is. Every other souls game I have played it was just a game of beating enemies and staying alive and if I grasped the story it was kinda of a side thing. This game makes it easier but it still baffles me. I actually had to watch a youtube video to understand the whole souls story as to why these worlds are the way they are.

There is what seems to be a random bug that happens while doing this farm. I have had it happen twice in all my time doing it and you will get just over 55k. There's no reason for it, I think it might be a glitch feeding you NG+7 rune levels for the death of the bird.
I have had this happen here as well as the boulder farm in Caelid. I kept thinking it was hitting something secret, but could never replicate it.
No, there is a chance where an enemy will spawn with glowing eyes and will give you 5x the runes on death. It is intended and is not the ng+7 levels as that would be around 27k.
I tested and Spectral Lance worked as well as Bow, huge thanks for this

Just wanted to let people know that if you have a Mage build or a staff if you have Loretta's great bow spell it also works plus every time u sit at grace u get mana back so that way u don't have to buy arrows thought u might need to fire twice once to gets it attention and the second time to get it to fall

Thanks for your Guides (scarab, early dragon farming, etc.) friends dragged me into Elden Ring, they are currently above level 500 and doing the DLC. Never played a Souls-like before this, but when having actual good Stats it makes so much fun. No idea what spells, buffs or Talisman to use/get. Bloodflame and the Blaidd-sword goes crazy.
With the Elden beast remembrance sword you can use the skill to kill the alburanics sitting down and get 100k per per wave on ng+

You also need the Sacred Relic Sword. Bow the Bird and then walk a few steps towards the enemies ahead and spam twice the Wave of Gold. Return to the site of grace. Trust me.

You don't need the sword for this farm. This farm is an early game one, for the sacred sword you have to finish the game...

@@Cole_B169 You don't need the sword for THIS FARM. This farm is about murdering the chicken thing, for which you ONLY need a bow and arrows. The Sacred Sword is required for a DIFFERENT farm.

At the 20 minute mark, you advise to "jump off this cliff." Then you edit to when you're down under the cliff. That cliff kills you every time you jump off it, so.....
One trick i use is after big bird runs off cliff, count 2 seconds then go to grace and rest
